Peace and Bliss and Consciousness and Power are there in the Supreme Transcendent else they could never have emerged. But they are there in a seed state as the Primal seed, in a complete self-absorption and hence not accessible to experience except by a total absorption of complete withdrawal as in nirvikalp samadhi.
Quite so dear Sagar. Merger with the Supreme is one kind of extinction, in fact the only possible extinction. One seeks for it for the same reasons that one seeks for Death, because one feels this world is full of suffering and wants to escape from it. The difference however is that Death provides only a temporary release from the bodily life, the soul invariably returns back to its evolutionary curve. But a merger with the Supreme is without any possibility of return and, without as much as even knowing that you have escaped into freedom since even the individual soul is extinguished. Besides it makes a mockery of the creation and the Creator, that is God Himself. After all who would give sanction to a long tortuous play that is supposed to end abruptly without meaning with the only prospect of return to the Void from where it all began! Behind this will to escape is a misconception about creation and its purpose. It is so because certain mystics read the Will of the Creator while still being on this side of the play. It is only the rare few who identified with the Divine Player who could see that there is a purpose. Sri Aurobindo gives full voice to this Divine Intent in creation. It is a divine self-fulfilment and not self-annulment. This world is a progressive manifestation of the Divine and the Individual soul and the collective life is destined to embody the Divine Perfection that is inherent in the Creator.
