I thought light tanks were supposed to die in the first two minutes brawling with heavies. Who knew? Great info on bush mechanics for the console. I did not know this. Been counting on camo too much, I guess. Great games.
Hey there, Eclipse! Nice little "clinic" you put on for us... thanks! And thanks, too, for saying some things that seriously needed saying! I'm not sure exactly who needed to hear it, but I really hope they did, and that they take it to heart! Here's an off-topic question for you: Any chance of a live stream coming up any time soon? I love those, because I enjoy watching you play "unplugged" making classic moves and comical blunders as well (just like the rest of us) and I enjoy the comments and questions posted by viewers and your responses to them! Soooo... how 'bout it? Anyway, great video! Thanks! Rock on, Brother!!! 👍✌️
Hey Eclipse, could you make more videos on tips on how to get better for beginners and stuff as there are alot of new or just bad players at the moment that are trying to level up tanks but can’t as they suck. (This is me)
If you go back into Eclipse's videos he has great guides and tips. But I agree he could break down camo and other mechanics for beginners in more detail. I get why he doesn't, the game is 10 years old. But new players are just finding it now. In the end I think it would help him grow if he does.
if there's one class of tanks that are played poorly, it's lights. The YOLO is valid for one thing only - to spot the enemy at the start. Then you need to get out of there. YOLO is a technique it should not be a playstyle. Even if you lose the spots you know where the reds are. You can ping the map for clueless team mates who never look at it and didn't see the red positions. Once that's done you're in business for yourself, and need to switch missions as required. The versatility of lights is what I like, speed and movement, plus stealth and spotting. Great video, very good tips and techniques for the less learned.
I've been playing Wot console for ten years now on and off. Having recently returned to the game it feels very "arcadey" and as if many bushes offer very little (if any) camo value. The whole light tank yolo mentality is extremely annoying no matter which class you are playing.
I don't agree. Most often you have to yolo in light tank because you know enemy lt (in almost every situation) go to center map to spot snipers and create safe push for his friends. So you go there yolo and brawl with them, eliminate them. And, in era 1 if you dont go yolo in pack to center map, they will. And they will butcher you one by one like a wolf pack.
Can we now teach heavies that they are not glasscannon tds that needs to camp redline, glasscannon td that when you fire in an open field you get spotted and die and mediums and lights not to trade with heavies or tds? But first maybe basics to players in general that when you hear an alarm ringing something is not ok and it should not be ignored?😆

Useful, as ever. I wish more people would watch videos like this, so they learn how to use their vehicles properly.
This is the best video ive watched by you yet Eclipse. Keep this style of vid coming. Informative for both new and older players alike.
Agreed sir.
I had 11 kills yesterday and lost. I feel your pain.

In my experience light tanks seem effective most in mid to late battle situations definitely not as a run ahead and getting farmed early

Great vid eclipse could you do a vid on the VFM5 because that tank is amazing.
Really good tank when you can spot a lot of oppenents and have a decent team. You can get easily over 7k combined damage
Great video!
I love this game, wish ribbons and best in game, gave more rewards

French lights for life !
I need a fast tank hunter any suggestions?
I keep getting placed on the losing team
End of the game. You mean 3 minutes in, like most games?
Does anyone know how to get quick xp so i get tier x tanks it is time consuming can't play 40 games a day
The French tanks are the best
Stick and move
Be a spotter, a sniper, a chaos maker. Make em chase you, your team can whack then 😆👍
