I can't appreciate enough to see a automotive focused photographer on youtube. Thanks so much for the solid content, man. You really helpin' us striving automotive photographers!
I get discouraged at times because I see the gear and photos some of these guys have. I have a Rebel T6i and my photos are average at best. I would love a Sony A7 but I know the wise decision would be to get great with what I have now and learn the craft of taking car photos and editing before jumping into more expensive gear. Somebody once told me a good photographer can take good photos with a good camera. A great photographer can take amazing photos with any camera. Thank you for making this channel! Greetings from Miami!
Wise words man! And I agree. I love taking photos with my iPhone also. Definitely worth getting to know the editing software and how to make your photos really pop 👊🏼 Thanks for watching and saying hello!
I shoot on a t6i right now and I have to say that good glass and learning to edit properly made my photos really pop. I am just now starting to really get a feel for my personal style when I edit portraits and car photos. I don't get paid for it yet so it's going to take a lot for me to justify buying a new body and any new gear. Check out @AlexJMWalter on IG to see what I can do with a canon T6i.
Rent-Hire a Quality lens, see if that makes a difference. try a 35mm 1.4, a lot of it might have to do with it if you got a dark eye or light eye meaning you tend to under or over expose your images I got a dark eye I learned that from my photo teacher be over exposed, When I'm doing things right I like to under expose my photos and then edit them to bring out the details I'll let in on a not so secret I used to write and photograph for magazines I did quite a few articles with photos taken on my mobile phone and I have written and edited photos for articles on my phone.

Very informative video! Hello from Ontario Canada! I currently have the Canon Rebel T7i and have the Canon 50mm 1.8. Just looking for some shooting tips with cars. Polarizer, tripod? Maybe a new lens I should look into?
Hey brother! I’ve got the polarizer filters that I use linked in the description, and they’re decently cheap, tripods are subjective to your budget and how convenient or light you want them to be. And for lenses, your in a good spot with the 50mm but if you’re looking to go wider I highly recommend a 35mm! Thanks for watching bro! 👊🏼👊🏼
@@TheCarCreative I have the 50mm too. My next goal is the 24mm, since mine is cropped as well (t5i) and I make videos. For handheld videos the kit lens are way better than the 50mm.
@@viniciusmacie1 Totally, way better because they are typically image stabilized when they are the kit lenses which makes a big difference! Having those crop sensors is definitely an interesting challenge to find proper wide angle lenses.
