As someone who has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well (and various other things like Lyme Disease), this song means the literal world to me. Swear I've spoken and thought these same things so many times. It just captures this whole experience and pastes it into one song. For real trip, this is why you're still here on earth and still fighting you're disease, so that you can show us through your music and your life that God is the overcomer. When we are weak he is strong. We will be fully healed one day. You'll never be tired again and I'll have 2 perfect feet! I never had any major health issues before July of 2022. Then all of a sudden my issues became very severe, seemingly out of nowhere. I've listened to Trip Lee over 10 years and never related to the health issues he talks about. Even when this song first released in early 2022 I didn't relate. But now I'm right there where he's at and it's no fun, but I do believe God will help me overcome it.

I feel the exact same ways 🥺 hard to do anything when your body doesn't cooperate. Pills that don't work. Dreams that have been buried. Friends/family that get hurt cuz i can't make some events. Trip is a messenger. Jesus is King. I try hard and still fall short. It's harder every year to keep trying. Just leaning on the King is all I can do.
It's hard to explain the level of pain that comes from an unexpectedly long period of suffering. Its encouraging to hear other Christians who honestly share their hearts and how they've been comforted in those experiences.
