This happened with two young ladies I knew. The one who betrayed her friend ended up being abandoned with 3 kids. The lady who was hurt is married to this day to the love of her life.
Another side note for my sisters. If you're in a relationship with a guy it if you really like a guy and the guy is bold enough to tell you he does not want you....please hold your peace, let him be, and move on with your life please. It will save you a life time of heartbreak. Also this applies to the brothers. If a lady says she dont want you....move on with your life.
