Hey there Paige. A friend of mine sent me a link to this video, I didn't know there were BT3 competitions. I used to be a beast at this game back in the day. Your reflexes are good, which makes me want to play with you, as I had to stop playing back then because we weren't able to find worthy opponents at some points. I got myself a Ps2 some months ago just so I could play that game again. I have lost my touch a lot, hence why I need to play against strong players to get it back. If you're anywhere in Canada, I am willing to meet for a challenge :)

Also, are there any guides to utilising movement the way you do? It clearly offers you a huge advantage in being able to take the opponents back or dance outside their threat zone from above, no idea how to do it though.
One more question, have any of you looked into using the Wii version of the game with a custom dolphin build so that you could play without split screen? It's been done for super smash bros melee for example. I don't mean to the extent of Slippi rollback, which is obviously a massive project, but the earlier netplay builds like ishikuura
Super Trunks has three ki bars at the beginning of the match, which is the minimum to make a super, most characters only have two ki bars at the beginning of the match! The problem is that Super Trunks is Slow so they go to base mode to have a fast character while maintaining the three ki bars.
Because in his super saiyan form dai san dankai allows you to start with 3 bars of ki instead of being empty, then transform is eliminated to be able to fight properly (the objective of that trunks is to use his armor version for his quick melee set, his Super Saiyan transformations are unviable in a competitive)
Ssj grade 3 trunks has a unique ability where he starts with 3 ki bars. Same with if you transform with him. Of course he's very slow and bad. So you pick him as grade 2 ssj. Then immediately revert back to base form so you get 3 ki bars for free without charging. And get to move faster.

Humildemente hace 15 años yo era un vivel 8 de 10 Ahora sere un 3 de 10, el de la izquierda es un 6 de 10 y el de la derecha lamentablemente un 4 de 10

There is a technique in bt3 that allows you to do that quite easily i cant remember the name but essentially you ascend and descend very quickly above your oponent after a dash for a easy flank
@@masterofreality5528 it has extra ki bar already from the beginning, then he transform down to a faster form. he doesn't get extra bars from trasforming down, just has 3 instead of 2

I don’t know if this is good play or or not. Some combos aren’t taken to the finish which doesn’t make sense even if it’s intentional and sometimes I see weird decision in gameplay almost as if they are bots. Also the super crazy reflexes needed for the teleportation dodge and the fact that it sometimes happens 3-4 times in row where the other one also teleports behind the one who teleported etc. A lot of times there are stronger options for combos etc and are not used it’s really strange.
It’s not too strange. Sometimes it is more advantageous to not finish combos to fake out the other player otherwise you run the risk of getting countered. It’s a classic FG tactic. Also no bots here, this game just has some crazy movement tech that’s akin to wave dashing for Smash games. These guys are just that good.
Keep in mind that 80% of those stronger combos are unsafe since they can vanish it, your only safe combos are kiai cannon and flying kicks since you cant block it, nor vanish it

Trunks in that state starts with 3 bars and is super slow. So the revert to keep the ki and be a better character.
