Tigers season ticket holder here….it was a painful day in the stands, watching Bristol pull us apart! They were outstanding and deserve their famous win. I hope they win the Premiership because that level of attacking rugby should be rewarded. 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯
And that was against a strong Leicester team loaded with Internationals and 2 time World Cup winners. Apparently, according to the rest of the knowledgeable Prem' experts, it's an unsustainable style ?
@@alanhawkes7220Years ago, maybe 10 years now, I listened to a bloke down south explain how the biggest difference between northern and southern hemisphere attack style is offloading in the tackle. I never forgot that because the more you pay attention, the more you notice how many opportunities are created down south from a strong runner and a support runner. Contrary to northern hemisphere where I am constantly seeing support runners stand there with the ball carrier hands free in the tackle but still takes it to ground and recycles. Bears went all out with offloading in the tackle. I left my original comment when I was like 15 mins into the game LOL. It gets absolutely wild and they did a great job. It's all about a balance and you'd need to get that right in the big games but this is a great example of why the hell not do it when it's on. My god they did great.
@@andrewmuir3302thing is I wouldn’t say it’s just a Bristol thing it’s a thing the north has clearly gotten to grips with in the last 5 to 10 years. I remember when I was a kid seeing others kids better than myself doing these skills in training 10 years ago. It’s that those kids are now the ones playing in the premiership and actively looking for these offloads much more than some players maybe 10-15 years ago were
Bristol are changing the way rugby is played, how refreshing is to see? Finally someone who has the guts to stop automatically kicking the ball in the 22 such a bore scenario

They're offloading in contact like it's super rugby! Love it!
