Exactly, it looks unnatural how the character lands in general, particularly after grinding, when he lands diaogonal to the kinetic force, and i miss the bending knees after a bigger height so much..
Looks great but I hope they have options to tweek settings for realism. The push is unrealistically fast and the pop out of grinds looks insanely huge (unrealistic). I understand its not Session, but it would be great to have both the arcade and realistic options. The animations are just so clean in this Skate 4 demo.
if skate allows us to do things SkaterXL and SESSION allow us to do(with mods and stat changes) , we are going to be so frickin spoiled with amazing skating games! so FN HYPED!

They should include flip speed. Like it flips faster the hard you flick. A kickflip onto a rail needs to be a lot quicker than a kickflip down a 12 stair.
Noticing a lot of incorrect trick names while doing a line. Seems when you do a 180 and then pop a trick from the tail (which should be a switch trick) it’s calling it a nollie trick. Most likely it’s not recognizing the character has turned around after the last trick and registering the tail pop as a nose pop instead. But everything else looks great! Can’t wait to play!

Like I always wanted a realistic af skateboarding game when skate first came out, and another member on the EA skate forums and I did a petition for the hardcore mode to get added to skate 3. But session was TOO realistic, I don’t want complicated ass controls. Just a game that looks realistic while playing much easier, like skate…
My biggest wish for skate games is to fix the way the skater's body rotates. It's as if they're just spinning like a top and there's no sense of momentum from the hips and shoulders. In real life you have to twist in the other direction before you do a 360 and during the rotation your legs and arms are wrapping and unwrapping themselves.
I'd like a more impactful feel to the landing animations but it's still in super early development so I'm sure it's gonna change, otherwise it looks great already
the game itself looks so good but i’m really not feeling too great about it being free to play, just an excuse to base the whole game around micro transactions and i already know they aren’t going to keep true to real skate culture

Yeah the pop out of grinds is the only thing i dislike about this game. Everything else looks great!

I notice sometimes the board doesn’t stick the feet until landing.. a feature I really wished s3 had. Slow mo replays sometimes got killed by that

Session lacks the MP component. That is still a major downside. Otherwise a great game, the best for now, probably.

I’m loving the push animation. The way the character always did a swing forward on the push leg in the older games always irked me.
