E bikes have nothing to do with fitness or age. If mountain biking is about having fun, then e bikes are just more fun. I agree that the dog may not like it though.😂

Nice one Lance - we rode there last night, Left Putaruru in beautiful 27 degree sunshine and arrived at Rotorua with torrential downpours! oh well I brought my jacket so I was all good and that's the important thing!

Darn I must have given you the wrong bank account number. A bike without a motor or a battery, that would be a really interesting concept. You could even make it an EXTREME mullet with a massively large front wheel and a very tiny rear wheel

2 corners before top of Soakhole climb you can turn into it (signposted) as well as lower Corridor and Eastern Spice. If you have ridden that far keep going to the top and run Corridor it from the top.
Hey man, nice to see your video up of Maiden Voyage.. just a thought though, your choice of using the term "puss#@d out" is quite rich, given that the trail was built predominately by women. If you mess up a feature, or opt out of riding something above your comfort level, and then use the term "puss#@d out", you're implying that women are less capable or courageous. It's quite easy to choose words amd phrases that do not offend or insult in these situations.

In this internet age of "I am offended" I find it almost impossible to make a video be funny and natural with no script and not offend someone. I even had a guy upset with me using the phrase "third world country." My intention is not to offend or upset anyone, but it seems to me that people have simply lost their sense of humour.

Drone would have looked good. Technically, I need permission from the land owner to fly drone plus in restricted airspace as well.

It is literally a few meters from the start of Eastern spice. The new soak hole climb will take you there.

I used a gopro 11 for this video.
The video warping is really bad, try a different stabilisation option. When you turned ur head the video jiggles like jelly
7:34 only film the illegals if you never read your comments, dms and you’re ok with the locals not liking you 😂. For me it wasn’t worth it…
That is sort of the conclusion I came to. In the early days it was incredibly secretive but now they can be found on trail forks.

It’s not that people have lost their humour, it’s that we realized that racism and sexism cause harm to more ppl than to those who find it funny.
Filming the illegal stuff would get your video flagged for abuse I'm guessing.
That has always been my logic. I try to avoid upsetting anyone. Not always successful but I try.
