Small world, I just realised that Graham is the same Graham that I did warm up laps with him and his son at Queenstown bike park in December. Good to see he walked away unscathed. If you do see this Graham, your Transition is an absolute beauty. From Nick - Santa Cruz Hightower with the Fox 38 factory at Queenstown bike park
Graham usually does read the comments but I will mention it to him. His bike is actually very cool the only thing I can say bad is the colour. Saying that I don't like the colour of most bikes including my own.
Awesome vid lance, and loved the cameo at the end 👍👍 thanks so much again for the photo opportunity with the wife and for giving us the time to meet you and the crew. Hope to see you all again up there soon.
@@bestdayevermtb2 because it is awesome, authentic and real. With funny bits and many that are totally relatable. Not to mention we learn from all the amazing advice. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to meet you all again.
Brilliant, just brilliant. I love your videos Lance. You Dads Army boys are a hilarious and close knit bunch. Graham is the epitome of “Go big or go home”.
@@bestdayevermtb2 looking forward to it Lance. I am in my 50’s too (but only recently took up mountain biking). You and your cohorts are a real inspiration. I especially like the racing footage and reports. I have been riding a budget full susser acoustic bike, but just paid for a new Trek Rail and am piking it up at the end of the week. Keep up the good work.
"No Mates Eastman" kicks another guy off his bike. I do like to see guy who is not in a big hurry to move just sit there getting his breath back until he realizes that his ride is broken then leaps to his feet to check it. Another great video
Graham often doesn't move for awhile after a crash until he has assessed the situation. We are all standing there waiting to find out if he is ok. I did think it was funny though that he jumped up when I said the bars were broken.
Great video, always great to laugh at your mates at their own expense once you know they are alright!! I expect to see that one on pinkbike Friday fails.
Really good riding lance getting better every time. I finally got my bike back with a new minion dhf 2.6 29 and a sram gx derailleur and it rides so well. But keep up the good work on filming and riding
Great video. I really want to know what type of body armour Graham is wearing, because it seems to work really well! Maybe you could do a body armour review video :) ?
@@bestdayevermtb2 is it the hard plastic outer shell type? I'm super impressed he walked away from such a big crash. I feel like I'd be leaving in an ambulance after that 😅
Really lucky to walk away from that unscathed! That ground it hard and he certainly had plenty of pace when he came off. How’s the bruising now it’s a few days later?
Nice to see you not jinxing whoever is in front of you, seriously though Graham was lucky, but he took it in his stride. So well done you. Quick question, was the bar carbon? I'd ride a carbon frame, but not a carbon bar or wheels- mad right?
Whoa....5:02 and already 26 views....And 4 likes (mine incl cos I know I will :))...Will watch now.. Good to meet you on the Great Lake today,Lance....Keep 'em coming!!....Cheers mate
I really don't know. I am keen to do it but it is always a matter of trying to organize it. I don't want to go down on my own. One day I would like to do a big road trip and ride all the best spots in NZ. I have never even ridden in Nelson another must do location.
I still find it bizarre that people want a selfie with me. I am a middle aged over weight e biker who struggles with technology. Not really the best combination for a youtube star. I do enjoy meeting followers of the channel though.
I do wonder what would have happened to aluminium bars. I don't think they would snap like that. I agree that most carbon bars would have done the same.

The guy at the shop is the best and always helps me out for free with my bike
He was a legend.
The cinnamon buns at the foot bath place by the car park are just gorgeous. oh wait, this is a MTB channel.
Might try them. Eating and biking are my two passions
The beer is good too!
@@bestdayevermtb2 They don’t bake them. Bought from a bakery in Rotorua every other day I believe. I was a tourist.... so don’t take my word for it.

Hello, from NJ USA. Great video. Look forward to seeing more.
Welcome on board.

The guys do say I lack in the sympathy department but I genuinely don't want anyone to get hurt.
Great runs. I hope I will have the confidence to do it
Graham is an absolute madman, that was huge.
great video, really building up the fan base now!
Never a dull moment with you guys eh!?

Haha was just watching Graham crash at the Riverhead from a few months ago and this video came up! You guys are tough.
Well Graham is tough or crazy. You decide.

It is an old six six one set but seems light but good protection. He seems to wear it most of the time now.

Glad Graham is ok! Epic!

This was filmed on the 1st Jan so Graham is all god now. We filmed an even bigger jump last week so you will have to wait for that one.

The bars were carbon. I have had carbon wheels and bars before but I take your point.
Took it like a champ.

Always remember to bring your whips in people 😳
Oh that why his brake lever was bent so bad!!! I noticed it the other day
No that is his signature Loic Bruni brake lever.😅😅😅
I had the same bars which broke on Huck Hound a couple of years ago. To be fair most bars would have gone the same way.

@@bestdayevermtb2 agreed, I think aluminium would have just bent. One another note, I am demo'ing a Turbo Levo SL tomorrow. Should be fun.
You should head ba K up to maraetai forest on a dry day it's actually pretty amazing
I have ridden there in the dry and must get over there again as they have some good tracks.
🤙
Hate saying this but he looks out of shape on every jump -)
We had that argument already. He calls it style.🤣🤣🤣
