It doesn’t feel lackluster it feels more of the year of balanced units rather than crazy over the top meta breakers. I like that they are releasing more breakers again as well as different race units
I honestly agree, having too much meta breaking characters makes it hard for f2p since they save for one and get it but then suddenly a better character comes by
New Years Demon Lord Rimuru, Diablo, Demon Lord Vox and Samurai Rimuru has everything to become my staple team in the game _I can already see it It may take ages to get both Rimuru and DLVox, but the crazy synergy all these units have together screams "favorite comp" to me!

I just finished the Roy challenge in Chapter 27 for full clear, and my god... if I could count how many tries it took me, it would be well over 20. But now I have to do the challenge for Chapters 24, 25, and 26. The units I used were Roy, Chloe, Shirou, and Ira. Ira and Shirou came in clutch, especially in phase 2.
I wonder when will they give Melia a ascended unit and I hope they wont change the eye frane from here because its the only thing that makes the enemy totally stop

Pris is good Miranda got screwed due to most end game bosses having poison res. V. Pris has heal, with status cleanse and artsgen that is conditional so it stacks with every other one that's not like that as well as physical res down on super arts if I recall
Hmm In my opinion,they're not really worth to summon,I mean summer celia is worth to summon if you have that perfect or that fully functional dark team,with also sawk orviel too if you have that build up light team,same goes with summer Rosetta So in my opinion,sawk platina is worth to summon,due to that she can do more break dmg and can increase her arts gauge by 209 when boss is break,new year dlrim is also worth to summon,like op said,you need that crit rate and crit dmg to make rimuru so that intense damage,and veldora,I mean yeah,he's gonna be Soo op on the dragon meta So in my opinion just summon veldora,new year dlrim,and sawk platina,just my option,im only saying this because not all people are whales to summon all these units,and probably don't have a build up element team with orviel and scelia
I might save for platina, i frickin need a breaker since my line up doesnt have one (im going with light-water lineup esp beta-alpha, but if there's a spirit killer I'm utterly screwed)
@Thotacus yes she is, needed for almost half new story Challenge bosses (don't say WGF is better if You don't have her and tried her, the equip ct speed that she brings + ether recast empowers your blessed neckaces) , and Veldora is another race which doesn't make him mid, yes his kit is like Tier S or A+ overall but him being a dragón implies that he would be needed for mono race comps
