I can't understand why people say Naomi has no variety in her game. Variety does not simply mean slice, dropshots etc.
Naomi in the last three matches was using lob shots, changing the pace of the ball, using more topspin in her forehand, coming to the net more often, using the angels etc. She adjusted according to her opponents game, which in my opinion is honestly amazing.
Its sad to see people commenting how she is a one dimensional player and ball basher! 😔😔😔

I was one of the worried fans whom thought Naomi needed Sasha back or a great player/coach like Ivan Lendl. Something clearly wasn't working with Jermiane, and of course he was coaching her through a lot of her slump and worse surfaces in in Europe. I am happy to say its nice to be wrong here as Naomi is responding nicely to her Dad. The test will come to fix the little things that were showing up in these last two tournaments: The tendency to go too big and too close to the lines, develop consistency, top spin and patience in rallies, and to look at the first serve, (why was her percentage lower than usual) and finally a bit of flat footedness in early games particularly on her backhand and her reaction to returns of her first serve. Naomi has it all, power, an amazing serve and murderous forehand and backhand with amazing angles and her mental attitude is fixed for now and she was thrilling to watch these last two weeks. Honestly I was afraid to look at my Google alert to see if she had beaten Barty since I was asleep during their match.. The Bianca rivalry is going to be epic!!

Absolutely. Like her former GS winning coach acknowledged, there's little to coach Naomi about hitting the ball and winning points. All she requires most is a calming influence around her on the court and someone to point it out when she is over hitting the shots. Her dad does it so well. And these two results manifest same.

Daddy knows best! With Naomi and Serena, it's all in the head... mental. The reason that Naomi has won two back to back tournaments, and the reason she did not win any tournaments prior and dating back to the Australian Open in January. Same for Serena, who got to both Wimbledon and US Open finals last year and this year and was 0 for 4. It looks like Naomi has made the necessary adjustment. Serena, if you or your people are reading this, you very much need to make the necessary mental adjustment to aid in your achieving 24 or more Grand Slam singles, provided it is your wish to attain these of course. I like both ladies and wish them both well and good luck.

Naomi has sheer talent even she is not realizing often and giving up some times. 1st set was given up casually and then broke down for that. Naomi can beat any player, once she calm down her mind and focused on every point. She can learn some lesson from Barty & Bianca. Barty played in this series almost like warrior with never give up attitude after losing her 1st set to opponents. Bianca played like never allow opponents to dominate by breaking them mentally. Naome’s game time frustration pushed her to do more errors. Father coach advice and his words brought back her into momentum. More than Naomi, his father is the key for Naomi’s success. Last 2 series - 2 titles against best opponents. Great Naomi, keep going. Hire meditation team, you always need positive mindset. Back to back 🏆👏👏👏
