Hi there Johnny, mate after having the camper for over a year now I am hoping you have had the chance to get it out and really enjoy it and put it through it’s paces. How has it held up and have you had any issues arise ? I fully expect that little things will always pop up but has there been anything major that has let you down ? The icon looks like a great starting point and I am seriously considering one of these for my family. Seem like great value. Does it tow like a dream ? Cheers and happy camping.
Hey Darren. I am enjoying the camper. There is a couple of little things that annoys me with the camper. But I have had no major fails yet. The van does tow really well it happily tow at 100ks when the patrol lets me lol. I’ve recently just filmed another video of the camper with my honest review which will uploaded by Sunday. So be sure to watch that one. Thanks for the support mate. Johnnyoverland
Two quick questions, first is what do you do with your fridge when camping in a caravan park or similar where security is needed? Second question is where do you store you food and pantry?
Matt Robinson hey mate the fridge stays inside the van at the moment with only having one child at the moment. But I know what your saying and I haven’t came up with idea yet about security for it. We store all our food in the side pantry next to the kitchen. It has plenty of room to fit everything
@@Johnnywraphood thanks, i have two little ones. Love everything about it can can see this as an issue. I think you could put a chain on it but would need a fridge with a lockable lid i imagine as well. I noticed you didnt go the shower tent on yours or do u just have a portable one?
Matt Robinson yeah I wish the the fridge had a lock on it. Yeah I have the shower tent it’s on the spare wheel on the back. And it’s very very very easy to unfold and fold back up takes about 30seconds
Great video! I’m currently looking at one of these so keen to know if you are still happy with quality and setup of the camper? Are there any other extras that you wish you included e.g. solar panels?
Glen Brooks thanks mate. Yes very happy with the camper. There are a couple of things I wish it had. Which is a full door. A hot water tap only cause I have to connect my hot water shower to have hot water at the sink. A better awning. Would love a wind out one just to make setup quicker. For extras I don’t know if lifestyle do them but a diesel heater is something we need. A t.v just to keep our little one entertained. As for solar I use a blanket which i connect to the redarc manager 30. That is something I would get as a extra the redarc manager 30 is the best battery management system hands down
Outofdoors4x4 Touring overlanding Thanks mate, that is really good info. The new model coming out has a solid door and wind out awning so some of this has been resolved. One of the other thing that concerns me though as other people have mentioned is not being able to lock the fridge up inside when both bunks are set up as I have 2 small kids. Still unsure if this is going to be a pain....Good info about the Redarc, I was thinking about going with an Enerdrive due to the price of the Redarc, it sounds like you think they are worth the extra money?
Nice video!! How does the top go in a bit of wind? Also do you think the dust suppression was worth it?? We are looking at getting one but the only extra I’m thinking is a diesel heater. Cheers
xchrisx84 thank you. I’ve only had it set up in a little bit of rain and wind. And it seemed very strong. I haven’t tested the dust suppression system yet but as we will doing some outback touring I though that’s one of the features we wanted. A diesel heater would be a great idea! Where would it go but? I also optioned ours with a fan aswell which is handing
Outofdoors4x4 Touring overlanding Hi cheers for the reply! We have order ours pick it up in a few weeks. The diesel heater fits in the cupboard on the floor next to the bunk and takes up no room at all. You can still use majority of the cupboard. 12L fuel tank on front of camper behind the stone guard. I can’t remember details but drawing next to no power to run. I have another question for, where did you get your net for the bed?? Is it clip on to the bed? Cheers
Nice video, and great Set-Up mate. I saw one of these for the first time this weekend over here in WA. Going to make a few enquires over the next few weeks. Roughly, what’s the cost of these ? Costs over here might be a bit more because of shipping. Looking forward to watching your trip videos.
Thanks mate yeah I’m loving these campers. Around the 33gs. Yeah I can’t wait to take it out with the family and do some big trips. They are just so easy to setup and pack up which is one of the key factors why I bought it. Hit me up if you need anymore info about it mate. Happy to help

Outofdoors4x4 Touring overlanding I’m undecided on what hybrid to chose but if I got this one I’d put the fridge in the car. Keep the bunks for kids

Are the Lifestyle hybrids entirely Australian built?

The reconns are entirely Australian built. But I think the iconns are assembled in Australia
Couln’t finish watching this noise. Next time maybe have someone entertain the kid while filming!
