Don’t know if anyone noticed it, but when the one question was: Who is the first person you met from the Untamed? Yibo said and has written as answer his driver who still drives for him now. But when he switched cards and (accidentally) turned them around it actually showed his initial answer was Xiao Zhan. Which is really weird because he didn’t say that. I really hope they won’t keep a gap between the two of them because they are afraid of gossips, I really support them and hope they aren’t afraid of public opinion! Cause you can notice they intentionally avoid sitting close to each other or on shows they try not to stay too close to each other though you know they are close from how they still interact with each other. They also message each other a lot, which was shown in a video that even now after the filming they still frequently text each other.
Yes they are close and more now. They just can't in public or else it will ruin everything for them. Alot of hate fans is try to ruin them by rumor this and that about them frust it zhan with a girl now somegurl claims she date yibo and Yibo not even met or no her it just get out of hand

There are the fans of just the idols and then there's the shipper fans and I often find these respective fan groups often don't like each other as both groups can get too zealous and carried away with their fandom and shipping which leads to unfair scrutiny and hate for the idols.
But, even if they aren't standing or sitting particularly close together, it doesn't stop them from their usual interactions. It's very apparent they are still very close. What I can see is the nonstop glances and smiles at each other, their endless mini conversations, and that fan-captured back rub/pat at the end of their performance. Seeing that makes me super happy.
Maybe everyone is being overly sensitive? Perhaps he initially wrote down Xiao Zhan's name because he always spent so much time with him on set that he just assumed it was him, but then after carefully recalling that day, he remembered it properly. He said technically, the first person he saw was his driver.
I understand how crazy fans and shipping fans can get and actors/artists (especially their management) are concerned about things that affect their image but it's very obvious these two are still extremely close. I've seen nothing about their interactions that makes me pause for concern.
SP-427 there has also been a meeting between XZ zand WYB ‘in secret’ look it’s not like they have to announce that they are going to eat together but they kept it a secret from everyone that they were going out in the first place only a worker at a restaurant recognized them both and posted a video about it where fans as well got angry as happy (?) because some didn’t like the worker invaded their privacy but most fans glad to see them together I guess. And I’m not saying they are having anything with each other in particular I mean it could also be 2 good friends protecting their image from gossips I don’t know that for sure of course.

sofee cat Actually, there’s many dramas, voice actors that had these good bye concerts made for them to say goodbye to the character they acted as so they can move on and be another character or something, but anyways yeah, it’s usually very hard for them to say goodbye to their characters cause it’s been with them for a while they grow accustomed to them.
Seeing Xiao Zhan fight back tears and YiBo getting misty eyed at the end made me want to cry with them! :( Just as Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi were special to them, they were special to us too and we'll never forget their beautiful portrayals!

Honestly... my view of all the speculations of their relationship... they looked like people who get along really well and really care about each other in private life but knew they had to behave extra professionally in front of the public at all times. Because every behaviour towards each other gets interpreted as romantic, just because they are actors who played romantic roles. Wish people wouldn't just jump on the romance train for every little thing and can also just think "wow, they look like the bestest of friends!" at least when commenting publicly. We may never know their private feelings but just let them be affectionate with each other platonically without making it awkward for them!
True, they seem to me more of a sibling, caring for each other but misinterpreted into something romantic.

So sad that sometimes Yibo & Xiao Zhan are obviously uncomfortable about the questions but unable to voice out (to respect their fans). Peoples keep making malicious comments and asking ridiculous questions. They left no choice but to answer well mannerly without showing that they're uncomfortable about that.
Example, @ 5:30 you can see that he's quite annoyed that even he mentioned 5 of them went together. The mc still emphasise about only 2 of them. But he had to correct it without offending anyone. Most of the time in The Untamed shows, host/mc tend to make things up like they're "Real" (maybe the hosts were asked to ask/tell things like that to make fans ship them even more). NO OFFENCE to anyone. I love and respect each of them too.
There were other shows that say/ask things like this too. They kept explaining. They received hates, harassment and so called "fans" even harm them for shipping them too much.
I support them as who they are. Not only as their characters in The Untamed. They are indeed close friends but due to the controversies & problems, they can't even interact properly as a normal friend (talking, fighting & teasing each other). Every actions will be overinterpreted by those fans with wild imagination. We must understand that they are not real Lan Zhan and Wei Ying in real life. They deserve loves and respects.

Thanks for the video. I wish I was able to see them in person at the concert too. All the Untamed cast were perfect for their roles in the drama. The men were handsome and the girls were beautiful. They played their part well. I admit I was a bit teary when they said goodbye at the end as their character in the drama.

The movement of their mic, while holding it shown restlesness and a bit of anxiety. I think both of them are quite worried of the questions especially they know it would focused on their working/non working relationship. And it kinda show they are hiding something because of their gesture. I mean if you have no secret you would be calm like the rest of the cast sitting there. The gap between them is also obvious, they are trying too hard to avoid each other while they seat near their castmate. Again, another form of guilt or secret that cannot be hidden through action.
I think that is precisely because the gosip they keeptheir distances and they can not be like always be playing hitting o laughing or be happy.. And they are going to protect each other
