Let me give you one idea that came to my mind: You can make a video on investigating this year's GRAMMY-winning tracks bur from a production perspective. Another idea would be delving into the notion that how a good arrangement can lead to good mixes and you can demonstrate this by examining good examples, etc. I will let you know when I find more...
One of the most relatable, easily digestible and down to earth channels for bedroom producers on YT at the moment. Love this stuff dude. I think it would be absolutely awesome to see you recreate some of the organic electronica outfits like Bonobo and Maribou State one day!
This is so awesome! I just tried it for the first time and it worked perfectly! Thanks so much for making stuff like this. I know you mentioned this is the oldest trick in the book but I thought it was super cool and learned something new today ☺ I watched your shorts video when you uploaded that but I didn't really understand what was going on so I'm really glad you uploaded a longer form video explaining the whole process 😂 I hope you keep uploading videos like this because I always look forward to watching!
this is actually incredible! i’ve been trying to get a kick from a song called “writhe” by stvg but i was never able to because it’s such an energetic abrasive and loud song hahaha
@@badhabit Yes, I've heard that video editing is similar to music making on a DAW, I guess it's a sort of arrangement of visuals as well. Greetings from Turkey my dear friend! :)
The issue I have with this technique is that youre stealing a kick that has already been processed to hell. Saturated, limited,, compressed etc. It used to be a lot easier when songs were pressed to Vinyl and also have a nice , warm sound. Also, records or vinyl mixes used to start with a solo'ed kick! Now songs start with kick, bass or whatever else on top of it. :(
Please let me know how it came out for YOU after you try this!! 😎

Very true! Reason why when I use this method I try to process the kick very lightly to make sure it does not lose any character
What the actual fuck 😍

Thanks man!
nice
Thank you!!
grandioso!
Grazie brooooo
What about 808?
Kinda difficult to do that for 808 kicks cause I’m not sure the tail of it would result long and clean like you would need 🤔
Witchcraft!!! 🤯
