- In this episode of Concepts of Faith, Charles Capps teaches on taking the shield of faith. What you speak becomes true to you, and while it may not actually be true, it becomes true to you if you speak if long enough. We are limited by what we believe based on the authority of the Word of God. The shield of faith is built by the Word of God. God's Word is the finest shield. It shields us from the powers of the enemy. Taking the shield of faith is something we have to actively and continually do. We can take that shield and build it up as strong as we want to or as weak as we want to.

Honey, honey, honey! 💪📚 That is some powerful, perfect preaching from Mr. Capps at from time mark 7:00 to 10:00. Satan's power comes via Deception! God will allow what "you" allow. You have to Enforce Satan's defeat. You give an Open Door to the Enemy buy your wrong speech and by your wrong activities. Put your armor on and get your sword in your hand! Use that thing. LOL

At 5:00 and following, I don't quite understand what Mr. Capps is saying when he says... "You" can't send the Holy Spirit overseas, but if you go He'll go. (Talking about having a body on this Earth - yes I do understand that part). It's confusing / wrong because "we" do not send the Holy Spirit - God sends His Holy Spirit . And just like we do not know from where the wind comes or where it is goes, so we do not know all the Works of God. Edit: Also, Mr. Capps says our body gives us Authority. That's not true either because it was when God spoke and gave us his Word is when He gave us authority (after the creation of the body). We also know that by God's permissive Will, spiritual wickedness in high places "does" have power as does the Prince of the Power of the Air. But thanks to Jesus - we have been given Authority and Power to tread on serpents and scorpions and lions and over every power of the Enemy. (So while a physical body gives an entity a mechanism to operate physically, "we" do not send the Holy Spirit - God does that). It's a fine line, I get that.
Also - I like that Mr. Capps reveals in Hebrews 2:14 that the word Destroy or Abolish in that verse means to paralyze. It also means to render inactive, inoperative, bring to nothing. I always enjoy looking up words in the Lexicon and I very much appreciate Mr. Capps highlighting this definition!
