After Bombay movie, I had full faith in a r Rahman, so went to music shop with friend who was also a huge Rahman fan, bought the Taal cassette without thinking twice. When we heard the music we felt like we won a jackpot, too good, calm and soothing with extraordinary lyrics. Best music I bought in my life.

I'm from Tamilnadu, I remember we book a month early for his cassettes in the Audio Shops and at times even the early bookings were filled and shops would say you would have come two days before. When any of my friends purchased it by chance an by early booking, I used to request my friend to lend the cassette to me for a day or two, I would hear at least 50 times before I return the cassette to my friend.
He is a legend and even now after 25 years, I daily listen to his music, otherwise my day is not complete.

All the best artists, best actress & actor, Akshay Khanna & Ashwarya, Director, singers and all others just made this perfect love story movie. I watched the movie few times. It never gets old. I like the way Mr. Ghai has portrayed the unconditional love between Maanav and Maansi. The fact that Maanav never cheats on Maansi even when she rejects him. This is called true love. Excellent work Mr. Subhash Ghai.

To the admin and all music lovers:
The film Yuvraaj(2008) could be as iconic and famous in all way as Taal(1999). But the wrong and absurd leading casts( salman, katria) who doesn't act and fit for these kinds of Artistic complex roles, made this beautiful musical project a nightmare. Even AR Rahman Gulzar and huge budget couldn't save the film. I believe Rahman did his 100% and worked harder to make it as iconic as Taal.
