Just listening to Adrienne say “my children” and knowing she has the blessing of being a mom now just bursts my whole heart. God bless you guys and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and also sharing the times when you were not so full of all this knowledge.
I love how lately yall are using your channel not only to entertain or for other purposes but also to educate. Many of us minorities grew up without financial knowledge and that's why we mishandled money.
The fact we don’t learn about money management and/or financial literacy - taxes, 401k etc - in school is beyond ludicrous to me. Gracias chicas por el consejo! 🙏🏼
I love this video so much. I love how Claudette decided to homeschool her children instead of sending them to a private school. Growing up I was privately educated, and yes going to a private school provided me with the networks that I benefit from until this day, but I wasn't taught life skills. I went to university and was exposed to things I had no experience with. Life is a learning curve, but it is always better to learn this early than later. Congratulations Adrienne!! I have been praying for you constantly and I am so happy to hear that you are now blessed with motherhood.
I am a resident doctor, grew up in Compton, born to immigrant parents. In so much debt, but I hear the light is coming. I can't wait to be able to bless my family.
This was so needed. The last time I sat down and added all of my expenses and bills up I was so embarrassed 😂 like how could I be spending more than I make?!
I’m so happy you both have such a genuine relationship and can talk about things as this. As soon as I try to talk to my sister about finances I get a side eye and a “you’re gonna give me a headache” lol all the points you both made were so good I am in the same boat even teaching my parents about high yield savings accounts and investing. Congratulations Adrienne on little lil one got lucky with such an amazing and humble mommy! 💕 so happy for your little family!
I would say sometimes knowing about your parents finances as a kid is stressful because you feel helpless. I think it’s important to use discretion with that as a parent especially if you are struggling.
Exactly. Transparency is good only if parents are well off or to teach savings and the value of things. But to hear your parents speak about their financial issues is not healthy.
Same growing up i grew up with my parents stressing about money. And there answer to everything was i dont have money for this. And it really take away my childhood.
I agree with all of you. This really only applies to families that are well off and are not struggling financially. I think it’s cool that they are eager to share what they’ve learned about money/finances but with adults.
YOU ARE GOING TO BE ONE HECk OF A MOTHER ADRIENNE. YOU TWO ARE WHAT SIBLINGS SHOULD AND CAN BE. I cry every time I see your bond because I wish I had this. It’s beautiful. And amen on making sure your children are, first and foremost, STRONG in their faith. Secondly, being so encouraging and supportive in what their own strengths are but to push them in directions of learning new things like languages, etc. In providing generational wealth, that’s amazing in itself. It’s incredible to introduce your children to things you never had and WANT BETTER FOR THEM. Best kinds of parents! PRAISE THE LORD FOR YOU GUYS. 🥰😇🤗😘
Growing up my dad always made an effort to make sure I was knowledgeable financially. One way he did it to expose me at a really young age (starting at 5) was having me work for chores (before I was old enough to get a job). With the allowance I got from chores I had to divide it into portions: spending/fun cash, savings (for my investing/5-29), and money to give at church. It was great and it really instilled the value of saving money and giving back rather than spending it all.
Love this episode! Financial literacy is so important and having an abundant mindset also!! So happy for Adrienne as a fellow New Yorker! Side note: If any women is having a difficulty time after a heartbreak, let me know! I'm a coach and that's my expertise! Sending love to all who see this and know things are getting better and better for you!
I just love the thought and intention behind generational wealth. To inform kids about finances, budgeting,, investing and how much things cost is to set them up for success. I'm also so excited that Adrienne is a mom. Her baby is now part of such a loving, talented, creative and blessed family. And that is a blessing in and of itself. Plus it was good to hear Angie Martinez in the background. ❤
I love your sisterhood! I love the honor and love Adrienne has for Claudette. I love how Claudette loves and protects Adrienne. It’s a beautiful friendship ❤️❤️❤️
I love and appreciate these financial literacy videos! Most of my financial literacy has been self taught and sharing this with my mom. I look forward to learning more than I already know and creating generational wealth.
Adrienne, I LOVE how much you talk about money on your channel. So many people have terrible financial habits. We need these conversations over and over again. My parents were terrible with money and I also had no clue about mortgages until I was 29 years old. Please keep talking about it. These convos help me soooo much. I am now a mom and I am also a Latina. This is so helpful.

I’m soooooo glad that you guys are spending your time to teach others about finances. I’m 27 and am now realizing how many things I do wrong. And had no idea

Adrienne, congratulations on becoming a Mom. Your testimony and journey is such a blessing to many. You & Claude speaking on finances and acknowledging you hold each other accountable is beautiful. I encourage you to continue to be open and candid concerning finances, it is helping me personally. ♥️
Beautiful talk, as a kid from a first generation family understanding wealth, and knowing how to keep wealth throughout my family is something I'm working on. one thing I have always kept with me on my journey is no question is too small and there is always room to expand your knowledge
😱😱😱😱 For years, many have prayed for you to receive the gift of becoming a mother. 😫😫🙏🙏 This is so exciting to see! Blessings to you and your family! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for sharing, Adrienne and Claudette! I want to create generational wealth (when I have kids later on). That’s amazing that you’re already teaching your children about financial literacy. So important!
Love how you’ll be teaching the next generation. My parents would always talk about money and share their stress about money so from a young age I knew that things cost money and was always scared to ask for anything. I feel like I am barely recovering from financial trauma. I am just now allowing myself to spend on myself without feeling guilty because that’s how my parents always made me feel because money was tight. So i love how y’all are teaching your kids about money but in a healthy way so that they are knowledgeable rather than fearful. ☺️
Transparency with money is a great idea... but my mom was VERY transparent with me as a kid. If you as a parent are not making enough or barely making enough it definitely can trigger some anxiety if your kids are empathetic like I was. I still give "Julius of Everybody Hates Chris" vibes to this day because of that little fear in the pit of my stomach. She would never know that though lol
I think realistically she may take a couple of months to introduce him, the way Jeannie did. Until he’s not soo little. Those first few months are sacred 😌
Thank you so much for this. You have no idea how much you are really making a difference. I was just telling my husband the biggest thing we can do for our son and daughter is to teach them what we didn't learn about finances. As soon as I said that I realized I'm going to have to learn with them. Thank you for teaching us so much
Thank you for this wisdom Adrienne and Claudette! I love these videos coming from women like you guys, it’s soooo important and inspiring. PLEASE keep up this content and transparency because I feel like it’s endless but it’s worth so much. All of us Latinos know that finances is everything BUT a transparent topic, and you don’t let your kids know if you’re struggling or not. With this insight I’m learning that there’s a way to be transparent and bring awareness/knowledge while not causing any sort trauma among young ones who truly should learn because it’s that much harder to bring up when they’re older.

My children's generation will learn all of the money knowledge and literacy I learned because like you two said my generation, my mom and dad generation, my grandparents generation never passed on any of that knowledge. It goes back generations of lack of money information. My siblings and I are breaking that lack of money literacy with the next generation. Thank you so much for speaking on this because I thought my family was the only one who grew up like ya did. We grew u in similar situations as well as be our parent's translators too.

I’m obsessed with these two, as I’ve always wanted a sister and truly appreciate their love and admiration for one another...and their genuine friendship, because that’s not always guaranteed in family. I wish Adrienne would do a LIVE master class (w/ a Q&A at the end) on the first step she took (the turning point) when she began to build the right team around her and her success. I am so appreciative of the video she posted with Lana. But it’s almost like, after Lana looked at your finances, who did you add to your payroll next?? Was it an Accountant, Laywer, a Personal Assistant?? Either way, I’m rocking with A til the wheels fall off!! I can’t wait to see who EVER looks like and if he’s going to join the band/choir 😊❤. Thank you for existing and for always sharing different facets of yourself and life with your fans. ~Vernae~
I appreciate this conversation you ladies are having about financial literacy. I believe this is important to knowing blessings earned can be spread in many facets and having a parent that's savvy in financial knowledge may open doors to establish stability and financial freedom
Love love these type of videos! Breaking that cycle of mental poverty. Talking about topics that can be hard to understand, especially to minorities, in an easy kind of way.
As much as kids need to learn about financial literacy. I definitely think they should be in late teen years before being introduced to budgeting etc., because there is only a small window to be a child and the burden of adulting is for life. Let them enjoy the freeness of childhood while they can.
Conversations like this needs to be a regular thing in lots of families. I'm glad you guys are shinning light on this 👏🏾👏🏾. Yes Claud, even if your parents can afford to give you everything, it doesn't mean that should be expected. Learning how to earn and sustain their wealth is way better and more important than just being given things 💯👏🏾👏🏾
love how you are showing real life tips. This is real life and this should be a life course and all the tips. I remember how people got mad at me cause I would tell my daughter our business saying I put this on her. I was doing this cause I was trying to show her so she could understand, I was bad and putting the burden on her is what people would say. I was trying to show her real life and why we had to understand life and things in life. Thank you for sharing
Thank you, beautiful ladies, for your knowledge. My new year's resolution for 2022 was to save every receipt so that I could add up all my spending. So far, this has been the only resolution I've stuck to. I wouldn't even call in a resolution because I end up resulting in the same habits. I call this a revolution in life.
The tips on how to communicate finances with your children really speaks to me. I grew up with my mom being transparent about how much money was available in the house and how it was used and it really helped me not feel pressured with what friends had or whatever cos I understood what we could afford and what we couldn't.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
Frugality is an attractive quality to the majority of the population. Being frugal is about putting your dollars towards the things you care about and not overspending on the things that don't matter.
My first investment with Mrs Gillian Sara Sheeran, gave me the assurance that have made me invest without the fear of losing. I got four of my friends involved with her already.
Hey Adrienne, I agreed with almost everything here and LOVED this video. The only thing for me, I wouldn’t want to drill this idea of money and finances into my children’s mind so young. I don’t want them to ever worry about money or know about what we are spending or saving until they are at least 9/10. Anything below that, I would feel uncomfortable with that information and burden on them.
Homeschool mama here ✋️. This is a good topic, nicely done! I struggle with sharing our finances with our children, I've always felt I didn't want them to worry about grown up things. But it's so true, and now that we have 2 young adults, I see how they could have benefitted by knowing.
SAME Claudette! I have a very warped sense of time and yes money. I wish I'd learned to save and invest when I was still in grade school! Love you girls❤❤❤
Adrienne you are so good at conecting with people. You make each topic excited.I like the exsample your sister gave on her children wanted to go Disney I agree with what she did. Sometimes I feel some parents wait to late to teach these life lessions to they children and then the children grow ut thinking they are intitle to they parents things and don"t want to move on.( Parents, bend the tree when they are young not when old) Note:-Adrienne I can"t wait to meet baby Ever James .May God continue to be with you amd your familiar Stay bless

Absolutely loved this, I'm a student nurse and look up to Claudette so much - such a calming spirit :)
I peeped the “Ever” necklace. I’m so happy for you. Thank you both for always dropping gems. It’s so appreciated!
I''m glad that Adrienne finally is living her truth. Which is what scorpio is all about, which is MONEY AND POWER.
Im a first generation 22 year old. I just want to say I’m really grateful for these videos and info. Thank you!!

I love this, I’m currently in a state of mind of understanding where my money comes from where it goes and truly understanding how to use it
Amazing Beautiful Sisters. Super excited For You Adrienne being a Mom with Your greatest Blessing 🙌🙌🙌 Love ,Blessings and Prayer from Africa ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🇿🇦
love how you are showing real life tips.
These are gems
My husband is currently incarcerated & my son needs to understand a lot of this
& I thank you guys for this

Thank you, beautiful ladies, for your knowledge. My new year's resolution for 2022 was to save every receipt so that I could add up all my spending. So far, this has been the only resolution I've stuck to. I wouldn't even call in a resolution because I end up resulting in the same habits. I call this a revolution in life.
Claudette we need more on your channel🥺🥺. It’s my favorite ever brings me so much peace and comfort
Had not seen her sister for ohh about 9 months and woola Adrianne becomes a mom and hereee she is her sis again
Maybe her surrogate ? Amazing !
These strategies work in relationships too! I just sat down with my boyfriend and figured out how much we spend. It was so helpful!
Wow 🤩 Claud’s story on Gerd sitting the girls down and explaining finances needed for Disney world that’s amazing 🤩
I just withdraw my profit last two days before
now. am glad i did invest with them still reinvested and the trade is ongoing
My first investment with Mrs Gillian Sara Sheeran, gave me the assurance that have made me invest without the fear of losing. I got four of my friends involved with her already.
I'm enjoying working under a platform that brings good returns in my life. I've been making my weekly returns without stress all in crypto currency
As a mother of 6 this video was everything 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤯❤️ Thank you!!
God Bless !!!
Same! Bought first home at 32! We all learn as we go❤️❤️❤️

I can’t wait for the Evers episode ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hey Adrienne, I agreed with almost everything here and LOVED this video. The only thing for me, I wouldn’t want to drill this idea of money and finances into my children’s mind so young. I don’t want them to ever worry about money or know about what we are spending or saving until they are at least 9/10. Anything below that, I would feel uncomfortable with that information and burden on them.
Claudette is so calming to listen to.. she's very smart
Homeschool mama here ✋️. This is a good topic, nicely done! I struggle with sharing our finances with our children, I've always felt I didn't want them to worry about grown up things. But it's so true, and now that we have 2 young adults, I see how they could have benefitted by knowing.
Listennnn... Thank you for Sharing... Thank God for y'all ❤
I thank God for my Parent for teaching this things…Love this video, I have learnt alot 🥺❤️one of the best
Sometimes I feel some parents wait to late to teach these life lessions to they children and then the children grow ut thinking they are intitle to they parents things and don"t want to move on.( Parents, bend the tree when they are young not when old) Note:-Adrienne I can"t wait to meet baby Ever James .May God continue to be with you amd your familiar
Stay bless
Thank you both. I learned a lot today. Congrats again A. I always knew you would be a mother. Soak in God's favour 🙏
Thank you Adrianne and Claudette for making this video! I was at work and I was just thinking about my finances literally at the same time I got a notification that this video was posted and I sat and watched the whole video from beginning to end and I just wanted to say thank you so much for this information, sharing everything that you all have learned and what is a good conversation starter to talk to the kids about because I have started doing that with my kids so the fact that you all do that as well that's amazing so thank you so much for all your tips and pointers, I will take all of it too heart and apply it to my finances from here on out so thank you! And Adrianne congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!! I'm so happy for you ❤️❤️
Generational blessings! Amen to that!!!!!
