Mark... we know the main reason people follow you is because of the great information you are providing to the golfing world and Kudos for that ... I would just like to say if it wasn't for your attention to detail and graphics in your video editing we wouldn't be getting half the great experience we currently get... thanks for putting the effort in and keep up the good work.. you have improved my game of golf tremendously.. this is a well edited video!
Mark, I love the way you show such great concern for your viewers and their hard earned money. You ALWAYS give spot on HONEST advice such as, When a viewer may be playing a certain brand of club and the manufacturer comes out with a newer model you will tell them to keep what they have and with newer players who are ready to make their first leap so to speak into a top of the line set of clubs you may tell them it fits them well or to try another forgiving Maximum game improvement set instead...Well done sir
Went and had a go with these against several other brands (Ping, Taylormade, Nike and Mizuno equivalents) these X2Hots are in the bag! Love the reviews Mark.
@rob Norman That is in fact a misnomer. The offset allows the cg to be moved encouraging a higher launch angle. Many golfers have cottoned onto this time to square myth but it's not true.
Great Review, I bought both sets, the X2 and X2 pro on Ebay.com since they are relatively inexpensive now a days with the intention to mix them both, but am having a hard time justifying the pro version staying in the bag since the standard version is clearly much longer, X2 pro 7 iron flies about 155 yards but the X2 standard flies min 157 to 163 when I pure it. Thanks Mark, now I have an even bigger headache :-) !!!!!
I have hit my friends x hot pros, and i just got a set of x2 hot pros. The x2's are definitely more forgiving and more playable.. and 3 yards longer.. X2 hot pros also have the apex grooves in them which are 30% larger than x hots pros grooves. They have definitely improved from last year if you talk to anyone who has actually hit both...
Mark, if you had your choice would it be the Old x hot pro irons or the new X2 hot pro irons. I would say looks would be the x hot pro but what about playability ? Thanks!
Great vid Mark. Will you please do a review on Mizuno JPX EIII full set in the future. I understand that it's still a JAPAN only release, but I hope you will get a hold of it in the coming future.
well, yeah.. I got them for $15 off retail. So I took a shot, paid off. Good shoes for sure. I am sure you can probably look on eBay to get them for $15-$20 off retail.
A bit grumpy review, Mark? If these Callaway clubs rub you the wrong way, no wonder we haven't seen the unmentionable brand's Tour Preferred kits of late. I'm already flinching.
Can't help it... Callaway irons often look ugly... this one for sure. They might perform good but they have never inspired me to test or even buy them.

"Go see a decent PGA Pro". Best remark yet :D

Are you doing a Nike covert 2.0 iron review ?
Keep up the awesome work

Thanks for that Rob - I think I will stick with my PGA pro teacher to get my club squared better. :-)
Mark do you like the hot 2 pro over the mizuno 54?
Good review Mark. Thank you.
I wish Mark would use the correct name of x2 hot and not X hot 2!
How do like these compared to i25,ap1 or ap2
can u compare the nike combat and the g20
I just got some new clubs, how often do you guys change Clubs? I feel like Brands are coming out with new stuff all the time.
Find something you like, get them fitted, and stick with them.
I've got Callaway's Razr x tour irons and nothing is going to make me change them. They are the bollocks.
Why do the ordinary irons (non pro) have more offset? What does it achieve?
Because the handle leads the head into impact, the head being offset i.e behind the handle it give the face a split second longer to square up.
Are those FJ DNA's? I love my all white pair. Real comfy!
Do you think the shoes were worth the price?

Always wanted to do this... FIRST
I really wish they wouldn't use "PRO" I play x-hot pro off a 22 handicap and they are fine. I think they scare people off with their wording.
Pro is just a word they use, because they're harder to hit than the none pro version.
