I got the light thru the window You've got the alcohol I'm on the here and now You're on the year before I'm on a steady diet of really being here You got a list of rules that makes things disappear I see the moon in Texas You see a bar that's dark I want a revolution You wanna make your mark But it's not guilt I want or punishment I see The world reorganized now In terms of people's needs Maybe tonight We could bring the fuck into the fight Maybe tonight I can see that I don't wanna die Maybe when I turn myself away Every little thing you said I wanna throw it All into the bay
[cont.] I really can't get enough of these gals n' guy's music. As previously stated, I first had this four-track demo sent to me sometime last week, and its since been part of my daily ritual ever since. Just got back home from a job I absolutely despise? Put on some Olvido, that'll make me forget about how miserable I am. Tending to responsibilities that you'd much rather brush off? Olvido will help make that a little bit more bearable. Hating yourself with an unwavering fervor that'll soon prove to be the death of you? Well, I don't think Olvido can't do much about that, but you can still listen to their music and appreciate how lovely it is. Seriously, I've listened to this demo dozens of times by now, and even listening to it now as I write, I still find myself to be completely invested in every single one of these mellifluous punk melodies. For all I know, the lyrics could be composed of nothing but the most nihilistic, despondent statements that one can possibly conjure, but it definitely wouldn't deter me from fawning over those delightful guitar licks, spritely basslines, and honeyed vocal harmonies. The music exhibits just about everything that I would hope to hear from a pop-punk group, including dance friendly rhythms of varying tempos, and a utterly-captivating drum beats. Not to mention the stunning Julie Ruin cover (which isn't originally included in the demo, but it was paired with the file that was originally sent to me, so I'm featuring it here as well) that I honestly think has a huge leg-up on the source material. There’s no better words to describe Olvido other than infectious, mesmerizing, and more-importantly, downright-wonderful. Olvido deserves the highest of praise, I couldn’t give them a stronger recommendation. If I were to compile a list of must-listen bands that I’ve featured on my channel, without a doubt, Olvido would definitely be somewhere on that list. I have no idea when (or if) that tape will ever reach me, but I sincerely hope that it's sometime soon, because I guarantee that it'll quickly become an all-time favorite in my collection. Listen to this. It doesn’t matter if pop-punk isn’t your cup of tea, because once you're done with Olvido, it will be.
I've been looking for it for years, the bass player told me it was a song by Angélica María but i've heard almost every song by her and haven't found it yet.

Searching for music never ends. Thanks for the new to me/older music.
I got the light thru the window
You've got the alcohol
I'm on the here and now
You're on the year before
I'm on a steady diet of really being here
You got a list of rules that makes things disappear
I see the moon in Texas
You see a bar that's dark
I want a revolution
You wanna make your mark
But it's not guilt I want or punishment I see
The world reorganized now
In terms of people's needs
Maybe tonight
We could bring the fuck into the fight
Maybe tonight
I can see that I don't wanna die
Maybe when I turn myself away
Every little thing you said I wanna throw it
All into the bay
Thanks for typing this I forgot English and how to type
