Hey Danny, you're spreading misinformation by saying "...we supposedly came from apes; ...we evolved from apes." That's a no-no! Current understanding is that we share a common ancestor, most likely a small tree shrew-like mammal. Check out the phylogenetic tree of life. Also, a comparison of genomes shows that our closest living relative species are chimps and bonobos.
Andrew is talking about Alex, the African Grey Parrot. Dr. Irene Pepperberg did years of scientific studies with him. He's not the only African Grey that can learn and communicate knowledge, he's probably just the most well-known.
Dogs that use push buttons to talk are becoming more prominent too. It just depends on how many people will take the time to train dogs how to use them.
Thanks for all you do!!! 👍👍
Kangaroo meat, very tasty. Sister teaches and lives in Western Australia, had to sample the local delicacy. 😁👍🏼
My sister teaches and lives in Western Australia, so tried kangaroo when I was down there last. Very tasty meat. Like venison with a texture similar to liver. 😋👍🏼👍🏼
Liked, Subscribed and alerts set. Always.
Andrew is really cool and funny.
Refreshing content coming from JRE which is flooded with boring comedian talk. Lets go Danny!
Most of those "comedians" aren't even funny. Only funny ones are Tim Dillon and Joey Diaz
Joe has fallen off...it was bound to happen I guess
I agree 100%… that’s all Joe has on anymore
@@fernandez3841ever notice how when Joe has on a really funny comedian it’s like a regular guy interviewing a comedian, rather than two comedians talking!! Out of all the things Joe does, his stand up is pretty bad
I agree wholeheartedly
He starts by saying that diseases are the greatest danger he has encountered. I’ve done extended periods in the wilderness solo and it’s tru for me too. Encounters with wild animals like hogs or bears pose an immediate threat, but diseases such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever can be more insidious, weakening you before you fully realize what’s happening. I’ve found myself knocking on death’s door because of gaps in my own knowledge and preparation. I salute those who possess the genuine essence of resilience and survival.
I think one of the other wildlife or outdoor survival guys got seriously ill from eating a turtle from an American swamp. As in multiple infectious disease specialists, no clear diagnoses long recovery time.
@@DensityMatrix1 I don’t doubt it for a second- swamps are some of the least hospitable places to be. I live in Southern Appalachia and I’ve seen wounds turn septic fast. Especially from ticks - which wasn’t a problem when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s.
I think of the case of the young woman who contracted the flesh eating bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila while zip lining along the Little Tallapoosa River near Carrollton, Georgia. She lost both hands, a foot, and a leg - but she beat the odds and lived.
@@flatsixx I live in Northern Appalachia, but grew up in the South. Ticks are no joke everywhere. They make going outside so much less fun. We used to get a tick and then just pull it off. Now I immediately take antibiotics for a day
@@DensityMatrix1 They’re no joke. I’ve had bites turn black and look like I put a cigar out on my thigh. I’ve tested positive for the RMSV and Lyme’s antibodies. Plus I’ve been treated for Ehrlichiosis. I look at doxycycline like a condiment- just sprinkle it on my cereal in the morning. It’s crazy how tick borne diseases have boomed in the past 30 years. Some say Lyme’s came from the Plum Island lab, and I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if it’s true.
Beaver poo tea
I love this guy. Proper aussie legend.
Cant beleive you haven't his a million subs yet either.
Keep going brother
Thanks!
Danny: What made you trek through Arnhem Land?
Andrew: One word... fi
Danny: Fear...
Andrew: fi
This should be the top comment
Man I been here for so long and I'm glad you're still creating content
His story about the trek across the outback was very inspirational. Can see in his eyes the hard times he walked through and the connection he formed out there with nature
I didnt realize it but I wasnt subscribed, just did! Thanks for all your hard work man :)
Thanks for another amazing chat , real refreshing your channel mate 👍 my go to now always , can't wait for the next one , appreciate you Danny
Thanks Jordan!
This has been more interesting than I thought it would be. I have never had the desire to catch wild animals. But as I listened I realized that I have hiked through their habitat a lot. And we have always lived places where there was easy access to forests and trails. Andrew is an entertaining fellow and was full of great stories.
Thanks, Danny! Love your channel.
Thank you!
I'm from Texas and have a thick accent so I can understand him perfectly clear! In fact, I have Siri and Alexis set to Australian accent so it can understand me better
Love this pod Danny I subscribed 😊
That was brilliant, thank you both 👏
CHUCHI!! Love your work Danny. How the hell does this channel not have 1M Subs or this video being 3 days old have only just over 50K views, Danny Jones is the best podcast out at the moment. This was a great interview, once again.
If I had the power I would put your podcasts as #1 in subscribers out there. My absolute favorite podcast.
Choochi !!!!!
Bloody glad he made it onto the podcast!
awesome to see andrew ucles on here!
This is a dope interview !
Your cast is one of the best Danny!
I've been subbed from the start. keep up the good work Danny! Liked the video and listening to it now.

Thanks Alex!
I fuckin SMASHED that subscribe button bro.
All jokes aside, I’m a huge fan of this podcast. You and Julian keep it real and have great guests
That's crazy, I don't understand why people come to watch the show but don't subscribe...
Danny's the man, One of the best podcast channels hands down 💪🏼✌🏼
Lex Friedman is a whole lot better
Thank you!
@@Koncrete I subscribed because I like to help people especially the young people. even though I do not think you are the best you are still OK because you do have great guests. I am an old man and I am very opinionated about everything. I guess you could call me borderline grouchy.😱👍😎
Not at all. Too boring and monotone
The energy this guy has is nuts. Like his blood is expresso or somethin.
Have been watching Ucles since the barehanded grab days. Must have shown his videos to a hundred people. Ay chuch!
SHAWN RYAN DOES THIS...GOOD JOB BRO! EXACT COPY!!!! LOVE IT IM LAUGHING AT MY DESK! THIS IS GREAT.
Used to LOVE watching Ucles' videos as a kid. I would be crying of laughter watching him sprinting around chasing allsorts of wildlife shouting "chuch" and "chuchy"
True legend! Appreciate you having him on Danny!
Amazing lad... i delt with filming with Animal Planet and all 3 media and its a formula and they want to call all the shots and do not want to take any chances with their
" product ". He is real and i support him, danny and the crew and send you all love and respect ❤
This dude is really funny. and really cool.
coyote peterson vs andrew ucles mma fight.. let's go...
LMAO
I threw my phone down and curb stomped that subscribe button. I got you bro. Rip’n channel
I’m subscribed!
It's so true, people think I'm a little weird and ask how I'm so close to animals and why I like them so much and do so many different animal noises, cause I had some stupid shit happen when I was young, animals don't judge you like people do
#DannyJones, #TheWhyFiles, #LexFridman, #RandallCarlson, #UnchartedX, #ShawnRyanShow my favourites in no particular order
Forgot Julian dorey
Very similar for me but I’ll put them in order:
1. Randall Carlson (Kosmographia) for knowledge you never knew existed.
2. Lex Friedman for the deepest chats out there
3. JRE and Danny Jones for the pure variety and guest quality
4. UnchartedX for the boots on the ground research and next-level presentation
5. WhyFiles for stoned conspiracy content.
Shawn Ryan is down here somewhere cause I’m a new fan and he should vet his guests better.
If you’re into UFOs then go with Richard Dolan, he’s the unchartedX of serious UFO history and I’d put him at 4.5 in this list.
@@Spengleman2 nice Bro I'll check them out, you listed those out pretty on point 👌
Tim Poole
Thanks!
Andrew is the man!!!! Wish he did more videos on his personal YT
will watch this later, Someone else is live right now, I once liked Danny live in the morning, hope I remember to watch this VOD
Dude. This is one of my favorite youtubers on the planet. I remember watching him like 10 years ago. This mf is the next steve irwin....btw rip steve. He was actually the only thing i looked forward to watching on T.V as a kid...also, that story about the kid and the horse was something i needed to hear. Thanks Andrew.
Catching a barracuda with a knife is crazy
I can hear Shawn's laugh in my head right now. LMFAO! Thanks bro.
The water buffalo story is wild
In a hunter-gatherer society this dude would have been absolutely stacking up women.
Stoked....

crazy that people dont subscribe. been a sub for years and definitely an excellent podcast!
💪
Ucles is the fn man. I seen him catch a deer with his bare hands. catch an ostrich, insane. Best wildlife personality since irwin, corwin and galant.
I'm sunscribed!!
Best podcast in the world. KONCRETE 4 LIFE. LET'S GOOOO DJP!!
I remember seeing his crazy catches on RUclips when they came out. Dude caught the most feral house cat I’ve ever seen and knew immediately…. That kid has no fear
Sick Fellas!
This dude is freakin' hilarious!! Omg the honey badger story, im watching laughing my butt off!! I have no idea what would ever posess a man to wanna catch one of those little beasties but i love hearing him discribe the badger growls!!
You can see Danny's knowledge base growing over the years as he absorbs it from his guests and then he zings me with not knowing about much a kilo is in Imperial. This is particularly so being from Florida where kilos have been a way of life for decades. -
I will literally never unsubscribe from this channel.
Always like and comment the episodes.
There are already chefs in Florida serving up iguana and nutria at restaurants.
YO WTF Andrew Ucles still out there hell yeah
Nice Julian Dorey troll lol😂
🤣🤣🤣
The start really made me sun n like 😂
Your welcome❤️👏😎
I’m from Oregon and I can understand his accent really well.
"Gotta catch them all!" LOL
Brooooo I used to pickup your dumpster!! Coastal used to be county sanitation. Worked there for 7 years before they sold out. Small world bro
I love Andrew ucles ❤
Bro got almost a million subs ur fine dude we don’t need the subscription video 😂
New subscriber
❤
Amazing pod
Andrew has some serious adhd It’s nice to see someone putting it to good use.
Another way for the YT algorithm to recognise you is for everyone who watches comments. I try to even when sick even if I just leave some hearts.
Good talk, 100%
Top guest watched his videos over a deacade ago what a good area of topic
would love to know more about the water buffalo......what parts did he eat first? what parts are the best? how long can he keep the meet out in the bush? howd he cook it? did he use any of the fluids for any purposes?
@1.02.40 15 Kilogram equals approx. 33 Pound
Right how did he get 6 lbs😂😂
I can't believe three adults couldn't figure this out even with the actual conversion on the screen and the fact that 6 pounds makes no sense.
Came here just for this comment lol
Just realized I wasn't subscribed, thanks for the reminder
Were we recording for that? So the host, guest, and producer don’t know when they started the show. Cmon boys
Yeah a defined start point would be great. Many times the show begins in the middle of a conversation without any proper introduction like we need to pause and go do research to know what the hell is going on.
Subscribed 💥
Great stories! Too many ads, though.
Just FYI- I’m a Floridian and I can definitely understand every word he said. I don’t know why any American wouldn’t be able to. 🧐 good show! Thanks!
Btw- I watch a lot of your shows but I don’t comment often. Thought I join the conversation for once. 😂
I need a job working for this guy, I too have the 'wrangling' gene. 😂
Legend ❤
When you're feeling down, go in the bush. Couldn't agree more. I'm a child, I know...
I traveled with Aussies and New Zealanders. They are both cool. The most fun are the Aussies by far! Awesome people to rodeo with!
Joe says the trauma thing too. And as a dad issue child( aka dead beat a$$) my connection w animals and nature has always been noticed
Danny has the best podcast, I used to like JRE but some time ago he lost his way, and he only ever seems to have on comedians and sports people, and I'm interested in neither.
Danny Jones the best of the best !
Love you Bek!
Right off the bat, Florida VS Australia GO!
No snow in Florida
Or mountains
I used to travel a lot for business, I noticed people would occasionally give me trouble over my accent. Say things about half as fast as your normally do, try to sound slower than you could possibly imagine; instant U.S. accent. lol
