Thanks! The hydrangeas are newer to my garden in the front. I hope I care for them like they need and they do well where they are planted. I love their blossoms! Robyn
Thank you for your kind words and for becoming a subscriber! ! My zone 9b is having a hard time with the heat too! During my vacation, I went out to check plants to provide extra water as they needed it. If I planted, I provided them with shade so they could acclimate. It's risky planting during the triple digits. Have a wonderful day! Robyn
I hope you are able to work on it soon. I have been working a few smaller paths. I hope to post a video soon. I hope you are enjoying your garden too. Robyn
Love your garden! It’s so pretty. ❤️ The two plants with yellowing leaves may very well be yellowing due to overhead watering, but it sure looks like Cercospora fungus to me. I had it in a couple shrubs in my own yard and they’re now gone. ☹️ It spreads very easily, so you may want to look it up. Fingers crossed that’s not what it is! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Donna! Another viewer said that overhead water issues was a myth. I looked it up and sure enough it is. I think they needed more water because I planted them in the dead of heat. They are looking better. I am going to look up what you shared. It’s great when viewers share their knowledge! Thanks, Robyn
Robyn, I've just discovering your channel. Your garden path is so charming, and I just love all of your plant and color selections! Hoping to find some of these in Houston Zone 9. Very excited to subscribe to your happy channel and see what you do next! 🩷💛💜💚 Linda Thank you for showing the names of your plants. That is soooo helpful!!
Thank you for your kind words. I’m excited that you’ve joined my channel!!! The garden is my happy place. Let me know if you find some plants. Happy gardening. Robyn
Thank you! That plant is newer to me, and I can’t find the tag. I think it’s a Artemisia Stelleriana ‘Silver Brocade’. So far it has done well for me. I’ve even moved it. Thanks for asking. Have a great day! Robyn
Oh my gosh! Thank you SO much. I am learning and there is definitely a learning curve, so hope to continue to learn and grow both in the garden and in the digital world. Thanks for watching and your very kind comment! Robyn
I’m renting and when I moved in there was decorative bark in an area Now there’s no bark there and weeds grow. What could be a solution?Don’t want a big expense or too much work either. Thanks you have a nice garden going!
Hello, I would pull the weeds, cover the area with bark again and then shop for planters that you love to make an attractive planter collection. Then plant the planters with things you love. You can do a mix of small perennials and annuals. This way you can take the planters with you when or if you move. I am not a fan of landscape cloth, but that could go under the bark to support weed suppression. Another thought if you have a Lowes in your area. Lowes will run specials on bark in early spring and some of the stores will mark opened bags down. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking. Robyn
@@gardeningwithmamabird I’m not sure where you are to compare humidity amounts. At 11:00PM, humidity is 84%, temp is 88, and feel like 106 ! This is disturbingly hot. We have quite the breeze but it’s not making any difference due to humidity being so very high.🏝💚
Hello and thank you. I am working on a few mini paths, but this triple digit weather has kept me inside for a bit. Thanks for watching and commenting! I truly appreciate it. Robyn
Omg! I’m excited to have a viewer from so far away. They are fun to dress up with lights for the holidays. Thanks for your comment and kindness. ❤️Robyn
@@gardeningwithmamabird that sounds amazing, I'll put lights all year round. The honour is mine to be able to view gardens from overseas. God bless you.
It's a coreopsis. I can't find the tag, but it looks like the Early Sunrise. I have never planted Calendula, but did buy seeds to try. I hope this helps. Thanks, Robyn
Garden Day, you want to play. Garden with your shirt off, see what the neighbors say. Ants in your pants, you want to plant some plants. Depending on where you put the plants your gonna take a really big chance because... the sun don't always shine in the same damn spot and should you put them in the ground or a Terra Cotta pot. The sun is beating down on my garden so warm. kinda weather have your flowers wishing for a storm. But don't over water even if you think it's getting hotter. -chorus- so get out in your garden and do a little dance. my name is Bryan with Gardeningbytheseatofyourplants. 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🌱🪴🍆👒🍺💦🎋💐🪻🥬🌾🍁🌿🌱🪴🍆🫑🫤🌲

Yes, higher humidity makes it feel much hotter. We are having humid weather now.
Hello I love garden paths! This is my first time watching your video. I garden in 9b also in northern ca. I’m in Vacaville.

Beautiful garden,I just subscribed 😊

You have a very sweet garden and your path is really precious. But I’m wondering if those yellow flowers are tickseed or calendula?
It's a coreopsis. I can't find the tag, but it looks like the Early Sunrise. I have never planted Calendula, but did buy seeds to try. I hope this helps. Thanks, Robyn
Is the low growing silver plant at the front of the border some sort of Dusty Miller?
Yes! I bought the seeds from Johnny’s. The variety is New Look. I hope you give them a try. Thanks for asking. Robyn
Wait! If it’s on the path video it is a different plant. I’ll look for the name and let you know.
Nice!
Thank you!
Hi where did you purchase your hydrangea tree from ?
High Hand Nursery. ❤️
What zone do you grow in? Your garden is beautiful.
