Gorgeous backgrounds & cards. I thought I was subbed to you but wasn't. I have now fixed that. lol. I like the brighter bird better as well. It may not be your style, but if you didn't have something to cut a brighter bird, you could always punch a circle in the same color as your card base.Put that down and put the bird on top to make the bird pop. The trees on that bluish background were perfect.Because that background just looked like a beautiful streaky sky. I also love the greenish purple background with the butterfly. I haven't done the cling wrap technique in probably ten or fifteen years, so loved the reminder, & sort of your "twist" on it (pun intended) lol. You did a fabulous job on all of these.🎉
Thanks for sharing these techniques! I'm always looking for ideas for Thank You or masculine cards. These gorgeous backgrounds and a simple white die cut sentiment I think would look elegant
I loved this tutorial. And it truly is. You gave your thoughts and ideas along the way which every crafter is thinking. You are really good at that. These type of mixed media cards I think are off the charts in creativity. I am going to watch this again to pick up some details I may have missed. I’ve been making cards for probably 3 decades using every kind of product out there. I love them all!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
I purchased some from my local scrapbook store and some from Joggles (link to Joggles site in the video description). I’m not sure if there is a place in Australia that carries them.
I loved the way you used the die cuts on these gorgeous backgrounds!
Thank you🥰

What a great tutorial…thank you! I just rec’d my inks today…so will give the Saran Wrap technique on projects
Oh! You are going to have SO much fun! They are magical to play with 💕
The dark green backgrounds at 6:00 min would look great with white or ivory botanical die cuts!! Or die cutting leaves out of the cardstock!
Yes, they definitely would! 💕
Clever!
The top third one in, looks like an abstract Angel to me……..
It totally does! I never noticed that before, funny what the eye picks up!
Love your cards! Background came out stunning! Live watching you create!
Thanks so much!
WOW, these are incredible! You explain everything so well and I love your ideas! I hope you don’t mind if I copy them. Just incredible and stunning!!
Thank you so much 🥰
Great ideas. Going to try this soon
Awesome! Have fun! 💕
Nice backgrounds a gel plate would also work for this technique I suspect. Even the black whit would work for a male card maybe.
Thank you🥰
Some of the saran wrap ones look like faux leather or woodgrain. I need to try this.
They do! I also thought a bunch of bare trees for one of them. Funny what you see in something so simple! 🥰
So beautiful!!! I love this technique & the cards you made. Where did you purchase the ink pads? I’m in Australia

the video is all blurry
@@robinreiner255 hmmm, it’s not blurry at all on my end.
@@ArtsyIslandGirl around 7:43 you admit that it is blurry. It is for a bit but then clears up. FYI
@@robinreiner255 ok then. I only rewatched the first 5 min.
