You forgot that a lot of these suburban communities. Well at least in the South in order to deal with this also are becoming more golf cart communities.

There was studies of the suburbs that politically at least in USA. That suburbs are actually purple meaning that they don't overly have the strong Republican or Democrat.

A concentration of wealth in small limited areas will necessitate it.

@@ayoutubechannelname That’s true but people will always want more space and newer homes. However, more and more people are content with older homes nowadays so maybe we’ll stop it eventually.

@@highway2heaven91they will still have that option single family is still the most common available option by a long shot but the areas that have a shortage of housing should be looking at their density and considering how effective their zoning is. If u want to get out of the housing crisis the only option is to build more. If you want that result in more sprawl u should be in favor of suburban style development if you want it to result in less sprawl then diversifying your zoning would be better in the long run. Its more economically feasible to do the latter but if its worth it to you to live in the more suburban areas there will still be no shortage of them. Like you said theres a large percentage of ppl in the country who want the house with the yard and picket fence so that will always be there. There is nothing wrong with that but there should be more areas that do allow for other types of zoning where it makes sense to do so. We shouldn’t be fighting agaisnt the market to cater to only one type of preference.
