Those are my heads ….Im very excited with the results and thankful for Eric being a stand up guy sticking to his word that he would finish them for me …my personal friend who started the job is doing well… he was going through a tough time when I asked him to do them for me….nonetheless Thanks again Eric ..👍👍👍👍
Very similar the heads we had on a 348 blown Sb we ran 5.9 238 in top alcohol in Australia not bad back then. The rail only 1700 pounds. Unfortunately the team fall apart 😢with out reaching its potential. Love your work regards from Australia
Those was some good heads . I Had a 436ci NA engine that went 5.40s @ 2800lbs on 28x10.5 slicks 16yrs ago switched to a set of AFR 23s when one of the 867s kept leaking water and slowed down over 2 tenths.
I'm glad I came acrossed this video. I can't decipher the heads I just got but they look alot like these older brodix heads I have a video on my channel goin over them.
Here in Australia we mostly had Holden 253,and 308, Ford 302,and 351, Chrysler had 318,and a few 460 as far as I know, some Holden's came out with 350 Chev motor not sure if SBC ,or,BBC ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Curious what the standard size intake valve from Brodex would be, and minimum size bore? 4 inch? Thinkin’ 4.030 x 3.250, for 331 cid, tunnel ram, along the lines of the -70’s Prostock SBC’s…
Eric, have you seen of know anyone who's used the Motown 9.240 tall deck Sbc/LS block? It uses all conventional sbc .134 raised cam, sbc timing chain, sbc oil pump, 2 pc rear main, crank, rods, pistons, water pump, and all are conventional sbc buy the heads and intake are LSX/LS. If so, what's your opinion. I am a conventional style sbc and I don't see the point in it because I can keep it real and run a set of Brodix BD 2300 Symmetrical port 13.5° 4.500 or Brodix 1213 13.5° wedge sbc heads that'll eat a Brodix, trick flow, and other LS style heads up and I would have to worry about head gaskets even though I top fuel hoop everything. Or am I missing something behind the idea, thought of it?

I have never messed with the Motown LS/sbc
Eric, what about Edelbrock rr 23 degree heads?
Are all 867s RR heads tho? I have a set that’s been ported a lot and I don’t think they are… if so someone lowered the floor
I’m not sure.
Did they fit a pontiac block?
SBC head…..labeled “Pontiac” for NASCAR use purposes
Lol, Pontiac, Buick, Chevrolet all GM…
Do they come with all the threads heli coiled or did you do that ?
Came that way.
My 867's are 15 degree .
Does your 867s take a 1206 gasket like the ones in Eric’s video?
@@2kcasper124
