    Embrace the mess. Baseball has always been about what they can get away with, players saying they’ve caught the ball and hasn’t, sign stealing, pitchers juicing the ball, umps making shitty calls and making it up with the next pitch. I don’t agree about using steroids in baseball but it is a part of the history of the best game! With that said HOF should let all these guys in the hall with an exhibit at the HOF with that era. These players had HOF numbers before the juice. And my gawd Rose needs to be in. The conversation is a great one about their numbers and that’s another thing I love about baseball!

    Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens and more all need to be in the Hall of Fame. No more who did this or that, the stats speak for themselves that's it! There are players who used and got in so you can't scrutinize everyone.

    • @timotmon
      @timotmon 9 месяцев назад

      That's debatable... Rose didn't do a thing to his body to make his stats unnaturally better. The others did. We know exactly how good Rose was... the other we don't. Can you say for sure that McGwire hits over 500 HR's without the stuff?

    You can tell Clemens just loves the game. He could not care less about the Hall now, especially since Rose, Bonds, and Schilling aren't in either. So much generational talent not represented in the museum of the game. Even the Black Sox, one of the worst blights in baseball history, are showcased as such in the Hall.

    Ehhh... I love that Beltré got in to the Hall of Fame... I'm ok with Mauer getting in... But the BBWA and Baseball Hall are full of crap and doesn't even really matter anymore... Two of the greatest if not The Greatest players of all time at their respective positions are not in the Hall of Fame... More ex players and/or managers should be on the voting committee.... Jose Canseco can be called a lot of things, but everyone he said did PED's turned out they did them. Several of the players he mentioned are in the Hall of Fame. And Bonds & Clemens don't get in. ??? Never tested positive and no facts or proof. Only assumptions and speculation. Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame too, but that is a whole other conversation!! It is a popularity contest now. Writers and Voters given too much power and control over who they want in the Baseball Hall...

      Ummm. I want to be married to Ana de armas. But unfortunately we don't live in a fantasy world. Do u understand what Pete rose did or are u just unaware? The single biggest rule for any professional sport is to not bet on games if you are involved in influencing the outcome. Which he flagrantly broke, and was absolutely unapologetic about it. So I think it would be a disgrace for him to be in the hall of fame. Judging him as a player who bet on baseball. He could have 10 thousand hits and i wouldn't give a shit. He could be a bad guy, I don't care. Good guy, I don't care. He knew what he was doing and he disgraced the game he supposedly loved. He's fine, he's not in jail (anymore) he just can't be in the hall. Judging as a player, no fucking way.
