Kate, I truly enjoyed this video! You are a fabulous teacher, but I already knew that. The edge to edge quilting is awesome. I can see feathers in one row of the B2B3 channels, then ribbon candy in the next. I am so excited to try this!❤️
It made me feel so good to share time with you this week. I hate COVID and miss you :(. Hope we move in a positive direction so we can see each other soon.
@@katequinnoffabquilts I Kate love your videos I have a brother low shank but when I put the foot on and have everything setup to sew I put the pressure foot down the fabric will not move because the foot is holding everything up my feed dogs r down I can't see why it would not work please help me out
@@MessyConnie hi, thank you for your question. It is important to adjust the height so that you can sew. The means that you may need to push the foot a ways up in the attachment bar. These is some adjustability on the foot with a slide channel. The foot sounds like it is too low for function. Can you try to raise it up until it is just kissing the fabric? Loosen the screw, reposition the foot and then tighten Int.
You can use seam a references and make air erase marker dots as a reference if you prefer. Judy madden and many others mark a lot. I do too to get what I want though.
Where can I purchase these Back to Back rulers? I have attempted to order from the Westalee website and It say I have to enter a place to pick it up. I have Searched be “Back to Back” and I do not see the rulers.
There are a few Stable tapes on the template to prevent it from moving around. I also use the arrow marking stickers to mark areas on a template and they are white on the back if the template is turned over.
Hi Kate! I am new about quilting, and I would like to know the different about the ruler or template when it says low or medium or high shank. I have 3 sew machine: a Necchi 534 is old machine, and Brother Innovis 960 DL. I want to buy the templates but I don’t know what mean low or high shank ? I saw the kit but it says templates for high shank and other kit says for low shank. Hope you can help me. I love your videos!!! You are awesome!!!!
Thankyou for reminding me that simple quilting designs can be really effective!
I appreciate your clear explanations. Seeing different ways to use the various rulers really kickstarts the imagination.
Beautiful quilt!!
Thank you! 😊

How do I use this ruler without making the grid on my entire quilt? (or, make minimum markings on my quilt.)
