I can imagine that if this archetype appears on the anime, when some player uses "Snow"'s effect, she would get close to the targeted monster and adorably offers her apple
For the Rella card, I think the reference of being unable to target any other cards with spell effects is likely that no other foot (spell card) could fit the shoe meaning it can only target her
Sorry in advance for the long as heck answer to your question at the end of the video. As the biggest fan of the Fairy Tail archetype (helped pull me out of my suicide-driven depression back in High School), I have played this deck for years since its debut. I have even made a whole slew of ideas for this archetype to reference many Fairy Tail princesses. My favorite card I designed was as follows: "Fairy Tail - Punzel" (LIGHT/Spellcaster/Level 4/ATK 1850/DEF 1000). "When this card is summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster monster from your hand or GY with 1850 original ATK. You can tribute this card: Normal Summon 1 Spellcaster monster with 1850 original ATK from your hand. You can only use each effect of "Fairy Tail - Punzel" once per turn." The card is based on the tale of Rapunzel (one of my favorite fairy tales growing up), and the animal that would be associated to it would be a Rabbit, as all the other Fairy Tails have been mammals, and it would have been weird to make Punzel a Chameleon (which is a reptile). There are other cards I designed for the Fairy Tails that serve as a way to let them function as a standalone deck. "Fairy Tail Library" can add ANY "Fairy Tail" card from deck to hand and provide 1 extra normal summon (each being a HOPT), "Fairy Tail Bookmark" being a secondary omni-RotA with a GY effect to Monster Reborn a "Fairy Tail" monster, and "Fairy Tail Regalia" being an omni-negate that can be activated from the hand whenever you control 3 or more "Fairy Tail" monsters with different names.
@@OCriticoAle I do, but is currently a mix of Fairy Tails and Charmers as the two synergize really well together, funnily enough. Fairy Tail - Zelle Effect Once per turn, if a monster you control whose original ATK is 1850 is destroyed and sent to the GY (Quick Effect): You can target that card in your GY; Special Summon it to your field. If this card activated its effect this turn: This card and the monster Special Summoned by this card's effect cannot be destroyed by battle and are unaffected by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn. Fun Fact: The version of the story where the princess is named Talia is from Italy. Here she is allergic to linen and she falls in a comma after a piece gets under her nail.
You must never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others for as long as you live. You must never use former contacts met through your being in the guild for personal gain. Though our paths may have diverged, you must continue to live out your life with all your might, you must never consider your own life to be something insignificant, and you must never forget about your friends for as long as you live.
Fairy Tale Lisa - based on the story of The Wild Swans. The story goes that a king had 11 sons and 1 daughter called Elisa or Elsa in some versions. The children had the best of everything and Elsa in particular had a picture book that cost half as much as the kingdom. Wanting a mother for his children the King remarried a Queen who also turned out to be a witch. She did not love the children and set out to make their lives miserable. She cursed the princes turning them into 11 swans who would only regain human form at night. Then she tried to make Elsa wicked by enchanting 3 toads and getting them to sit on her while she gave Elsa a bath. The toads changed into flowers on touching Elsa who was pure of heart and innocent. Too much to be hurt by witchcraft. So the queen exiled her to wander the forests of the country alone. She decided she would use this as an opportunity to find her 11 brothers. She did and they flew with her in their swan forms to another country. One night she had a dream where she flew to the cloud palace of a fairy called Morgana. Morgana told her that to save her brothers she would need to gather stinging nettles, crush them into yarn and knit them into long sleeved shirts. By throwing these shirts over the swans the spell would be broken. However if she undertook the task she could not speak until she had finished or her brothers would instantly fall dead. She was found by a king who noticed she couldn't speak and that her hands were blistered from the nettles but he fell in love with her and married her. But the Archbishop of the country distrusted her thinking she was a witch because of the work she was doing. He followed her as she went to the local church yard to gather nettles and showed the king who ordered that she should be executed for witchcraft. All the while she was making the shirts for her brothers. As she was carted to the pyre to be burned at the stake, the swans found her and settled on the cart. She threw the shirts over them and they turned back into princes. The youngest prince still had a swan's wing in place of an arm because his shirt wasn't quite finished. Her task complete Elsa was able to speak and proclaim her innocence and the brothers corroborated her story. Then she and her husband the king lived happily ever after.
She would look like a hamster as they can eat nettles and the book would be a picture book rather than a book of text. The effects of Fairy Tail Lisa could be: This card is not destroyed in battle with a spellcaster type monster and any damage you take in such battles is halved. if this card attacks every other monster you control is destroyed. (Quick effect) Once per turn you can target a monster your opponent controls and change its type to winged-beast. When the targeted monster is attacked by a monster you control, reduce its ATK to 0 during damage calculation. This effect can be used 11 times per duel.
My first thought for a new fairy tail monster would be based on the princess and the pea, and it would have an effect like "look at the bottom 3 cards of your deck, add 1 to your hand, and return the other two to the bottom of your deck in any order"
Boss monster: Fairy Tail - Grimhilde DARK/9/Fiend/Effect If there are seven or more cards in your opponent's GY, you can flip 1 card with more ATK than this card face down. If you do, put a Malus counter on it. You can only activate this effect once per duel. Cards with a Malus Counter on them, it cannot be flip summoned and cannot be flipped face-up by card effects. this card gains 2000 ATK for every Malus Counter on the field. If this card leaves the field, destroy every Malus Counter on the field. 1500/1850 This is the evil queen from Snow White, whose name is Grimhilde. Malus is the species name for the common apple.
Fairy Tail Frogstris Lv 4 spellcaster, 1500 Def, 1850 Atk When this card is normal or special summoned, you can add a spellcaster with 1850 atk or less from your deck to your hand. once per turn when card would be attacked or targeted by a monsters effect, immediately flip this card back into unflipped defense position. was thinking of princess and the frog but it would kinda go against the "Fur" in the furry princess theme they have going on. I thought it would be funny callback. FOr everytime this card would enter battle, Tiana in her frog form would have to go into defense, because its hard for her to fight with the Mucus/slime getting in her way
If we Include Fables that aren't just Princesses There is a entire archtype just waiting to be made. Alice in wonderland Little Match Girl Red Riding Hood Gretel and Hansel Aladdin (could be the man himself or the Princess) Dorothy from Wizard of Oz Rapunzel Pinocchio (could be changed into a girl too why not) Little Mermaid (TEARLAMENT) Hell it could even have darker versions from Ghost Tales like Yuki Onna.
If I could add a fairly tail monster (dont. Fairy tail - Locks (based off of Repunzel) Once per turn, you can Normal Summon/Set 1 Spellcaster monster with 1850 ATK in addition to your Normal Summon. When your opponent activates a monster effect: (Quick Effect) You can negate that cards effect and banish both that and this monster. During the End Phase both monster are special summoned back to the field. You can only use each effect of "Fairy tail - Locks" once per turn. The first effect refrances the many people running into others by chance throughout the story, all centering around Repunzel. The second effect represents Repunzel using her hair to let people into the tower and back out. An opponent using an effect representing the chant to call her to let down her hair, and them both being banished representing them both being in the tower. If I had to pick an animal motif for Locks, I'd pick a rabbit. Because the play of "Hair" and "Hare" is just too good to pass up.👍
Fun fact about Rella. You can attach the equip spell "Glass Slippers" from the other "fairy tale associated archetype" to it and gain the positive effect, giving it 1000 atk points as its equipped to a fairy monster, seems fairly neat given that the equip was released after this monster, so maybe it could have been intended to syngerize (ik long shot but its kinda cool regardless)
I just tested it and uh, it does not work for Rella. She has to be Fairy type, so the Glass Slippers don't really do anything to her except lower her ATK and disable her from attacking.
Fairy Tail - Lucy Spellcaster/Ritual/Effect Can only be Ritual Summoned by "Zodiac Magician Ritual". Once per turn, you can apply one of these effects: -you can Special Summon 1 Zodiac Beast monster. -you can Tribute 1 Zodiac Beast monster, destroy all monster on your opponent controls. If "Fairy Tail Guild" is on the field, Special Summon 1 Fairy Tail Dragon Type monster.
If i had to come up with one (since you asked), it would be Fairy Tail Shaharazad. Her effect would be that once per turn, when this card would be destroyed by battle, it instead negates the damage and returns itself and the opponent's monsters to the hand, as a reference to her using her stories to earn herself a stay of execution each night.
I wonder why Konami never made more fairy tail cards, about fairytales. Also I wonder why they're spellcasters and not beasts. *Fairy tail - goldy.* Based on Goldilocks. Her animal form being a cute bear. *Attack* 1850, *defense* 1000. *Attribute* Light *Type* Spellcaster. *Effect:* Once succesfully summoned or special summoned. Select either 3 spell cards or 3 trap cards (no mixing spells and trap cards) from your deck. Reveal these card to your opponent. Your opponent selects one card, add that card to your hand. The cards that weren't selected go to the graveyard. *Reference:* Goldilocks always had to select from 3 (chairs to sit in, porridge to eat from and beds to sleep in. Yet it was always the same stuff, therefore it's either spells or either trap cards), the others were left completely wrecked (so send to the grave). In the story the papa, mama and baby bears returned home from their walk and therefore was revealed to everythere that Goldilocks did/wrecked, yet choose to let her go. So the opponent get to see what happened and choose what card to keep. Like Snow it's not a once per turn, so I wonder how broken that would be, as there are decks that benefit from spells/traps in the graveyard. Let's bring back *Divine sword phoenix blade* or *invocation* xD. Can always make it more balanced by adding "Banish this card once destroyed by battle or once destroyed by opponent card effects" as Goldilocks booked out of the story once she was caught by the bears xD.
We fairy tail Hood and she's either a little wolf puppy or some kind of pray animal like a doe, maybe she can summon herself to the opponents side of the field as a reference to being in dangerous territory.
The original Cinderella story was a chaotic mess and I love it Instead of a fairy godmother, there's a magical cow skeleton that gives Cinderella super speed
To be fair to the original tale of sleeping beauty, fairies use to be less benevolent and more monsters who played pranks and tricks on people, so it probably seemed the perfect prank to pull to them
Is that the original story of sleeping beauty? Cause what I remember from the cartoon(the one TGS use in the cut scene) they did put the whole kingdom to sleep, but they didn't overgrow the forest to prevent others. The fairies went to rescue the prince (which was kidnapped by the witch to prevent the kiss) so he can kiss the princes, and the witch then grow out all these thick pointy thorns to block their path, when that didn't work she turned into a dragon to fight them and got killed.
Good thing they didn't use the version of the story where the prince decides to impregnate the STILL SLEEPING princess and she only wakes up when she feels the pain of TWIN CHILDREN being born.
@@Shantae1188 oh yes. The Grimms version involved the step sisters cutting pieces off their own feet to get them into the slipper. When they ultimately fail their eyes are pecked out by birds.

A new Fairy Tail monster? How about: Fairy Tail - Reed: Spellcaster, Light, Fairy, 1850 Atk, 1000 Def. Effect: if this monster is summoned, you may target one spellcaster monster you control and equip it to a monster your opponent controls, then while equipped that monster cannot be used as material for the summon of an extra deck monster and has its effects negated. When a monster that has a card equipped by this effect is removed from the field, special summon the equipped card to your side of the field. Artwork would be that of a wolf. Card is based off of Little Red Riding Hood.
A star walks into a black hole but doesn't seen phased. The black hole then turns to the star and says, "I don't think you understand the gravity of this situation."
Ahh fairy tale. Probably a decent archetype but everyone only ever remember fairy tail snow and how completely freaking busted it is as a lvl 4 spellcaster
On your next video, you should do a Duel Analysis with one of these duels from Duelist Kingdom arc: - Yugi vs Joey (Best of Friends Best of Duelists) - Kaiba vs Pegasus (Creator vs Champion) - Yugi vs Pegasus (Match of the Millennium) I recommend you choose Yugi and Joey because it was the best duel ever since it was the only filler duel that was shown in the anime and because the dub version used the greatest song: "No Matter What". It really touched me with excitement
Hey TGS! Could i ask for a Gold Pride video? I pulled a few cards of theirs and i love the art style. Great video as always and keep up the great work!
I’d make a supporting archetype called “Fairy Tail Fighters” and include some other notables like Mulan and Mushu, Rapunzel, and Perdita for shits and giggles. The cards would be warriors, but treated as spellcasters for the use of the other Fairy Tail cards. Konami would figure out how to work it.
How about Fairy Tail - Red? Its animal form would be a wolf and its effects would be: When this card is Normal or Special summoned you can destroy one monster on the field, until the End Phase this card's name becomes the destroyed monster's original name. If this card battles a Beast-Type monster; (Quick Effect) you can discard 1 monster from your hand, then after this effect resolves; immediately destroy that monster.
If they going do anymore Fairy Tail monster, they should a Mulian reference maybe call it Fairy Tail Mu Lin with effect it gain 200 attack per fairy tail monster on the field.
For Fairy Tail - Rochka, its card text says "You *CAN* send this card to the GY." So does that mean you're given the choice to not have damage calculation?
I would add Belle from beauty and the beast and would have it's effect be to summon a stronger monster when it's attacked. Think that would be cool could make it a lioness cub or something?
I got one fairy tail aria based on a fish of some kind one per turn this monster can negate the effect of another monster at the end of the turn destroy this card based on the little mermaid the effect negate being her losing her voice when she becomes human and the being destroyed being based on the original end of the story when she returns to the sea and becomes sea foam
Would it possible to talk about the Black Scorpion archetype in the future? I am curious about them since I have two cards in Spanish and my Spanish skills are basic at best.
I sometimes hate it that when these fairy tales are mentioned, I remember the original rendition, which are tales but not very fairy-like in terms of family friendliness.
I would think that cerellas effect that no player can target cards with spell effects except for her references to the glass shoe fitting no one but her
They should make a Veggie Tale Archetype except for Buddhism and other Eastern religions/philosphies instead of Jesus to avoid copyright. It will be a sentient plant archetype with effects that reflect the miracles of Eastern folklore. Like, Confucian Larry, Daoist Alfred, and Chinese Communist Bob have ritual, spirit monster, and life point averaging effects
I'll make one Fairy tail locks Based on goldielocks Can not be destroied by an opponets monster with more attack points and not deal damage if the opposing monster has less attack points
I can imagine that if this archetype appears on the anime, when some player uses "Snow"'s effect, she would get close to the targeted monster and adorably offers her apple
Then the opponent uses a negate and slaps away the apple
@Poni the Horse Pone then the target keels over and faints face down.
"By banishing Dopey, Sneezy, Doc, and my entire hand; I summon my ace monster! Come forth! Fairy Tail - Snow!" _God card music plays_
Agreed! I really hope that one day Snow will receive an errata that adds a HOPT clause to her effects, as I really want the card unbanned.
[Tail wag]
"UnderstandableZZZZZZZ..."
I love how snow banishes the 7 cards. I just imagine shes offing all 7 dwarves.
I think that's exactly the purpose lmao
For the Rella card, I think the reference of being unable to target any other cards with spell effects is likely that no other foot (spell card) could fit the shoe meaning it can only target her
Makes sense since the equips need an appropriate target in order for it to happen.
Same idea but more as in the spell are the shoe
"Fairy, where you going? I'm gonna grab the sky and illuminate your tomorrow!"

The effects of Fairy Tail Lisa could be:
This card is not destroyed in battle with a spellcaster type monster and any damage you take in such battles is halved. if this card attacks every other monster you control is destroyed. (Quick effect) Once per turn you can target a monster your opponent controls and change its type to winged-beast. When the targeted monster is attacked by a monster you control, reduce its ATK to 0 during damage calculation. This effect can be used 11 times per duel.
My new favorite video, i love all this backstory
Recapping Disney classics with TGS. Good stuff
09:20 Gamefrick made a Pokémon base on her.
Does anyone know the name of the bgm used? I can not figure it out. Song one and three specifically
Love this archetype. Reminds me of Descendants 1-3. The descendants of disney princesses and princes.
My first thought for a new fairy tail monster would be based on the princess and the pea, and it would have an effect like "look at the bottom 3 cards of your deck, add 1 to your hand, and return the other two to the bottom of your deck in any order"
Every time a new Archetype video drops I immediately go and see if I can make a fun deck with it
Boss monster:
Fairy Tail - Grimhilde
DARK/9/Fiend/Effect
If there are seven or more cards in your opponent's GY, you can flip 1 card with more ATK than this card face down.
1500/1850
This is the evil queen from Snow White, whose name is Grimhilde. Malus is the species name for the common apple.
Fairy Tail Frogstris
Lv 4 spellcaster, 1500 Def, 1850 Atk
When this card is normal or special summoned, you can add a spellcaster with 1850 atk or less from your deck to your hand. once per turn when card would be attacked or targeted by a monsters effect, immediately flip this card back into unflipped defense position.
was thinking of princess and the frog but it would kinda go against the "Fur" in the furry princess theme they have going on.
I thought it would be funny callback. FOr everytime this card would enter battle, Tiana in her frog form would have to go into defense, because its hard for her to fight with the Mucus/slime getting in her way
If we Include Fables that aren't just Princesses There is a entire archtype just waiting to be made.
Alice in wonderland
Little Match Girl
Red Riding Hood
Gretel and Hansel
Aladdin (could be the man himself or the Princess)
Dorothy from Wizard of Oz
Rapunzel
Pinocchio (could be changed into a girl too why not)
Little Mermaid (TEARLAMENT)
Hell it could even have darker versions from Ghost Tales like Yuki Onna.
momotaro
If I could add a fairly tail monster (dont.
Fairy tail - Locks (based off of Repunzel)
Once per turn, you can Normal Summon/Set 1 Spellcaster monster with 1850 ATK in addition to your Normal Summon.
Because the play of "Hair" and "Hare" is just too good to pass up.👍
You mean there’s more than just Snow? Damn, this archetype got the Danger! treatment
Imagine waking up from a hundred year slumber and seeing the lord of heavenly prison in front of you. 😂
Fairy tail boss monsters being the authors of the fairy tales.
Rella is a spellcaster though, does that mean that Glass Slipper also works on cards with fairy in the name?
I just tested it and uh, it does not work for Rella. She has to be Fairy type, so the Glass Slippers don't really do anything to her except lower her ATK and disable her from attacking.
Not a fun fact, its a wrong fact 😢
the last one made me tear up. im a grown adult i shouldn't be tearing up lol
a monster that represents beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, and a spell card incorporating all the "princesses" of the fairy tales.
Fairy Tail - Lucy
Spellcaster/Ritual/Effect
Can only be Ritual Summoned by "Zodiac Magician Ritual".
Once per turn, you can apply one of these effects:
-you can Special Summon 1 Zodiac Beast monster.
-you can Tribute 1 Zodiac Beast monster, destroy all monster on your opponent controls.
If "Fairy Tail Guild" is on the field, Special Summon 1 Fairy Tail Dragon Type monster.
Hello Sam, I was wondering if you would do a gaia or bls archetype video?
They have hearts on their paw pads. I love it.
The original Cinderella story was a chaotic mess and I love it
Instead of a fairy godmother, there's a magical cow skeleton that gives Cinderella super speed
I didn’t know anything about Snow White, until now. I can’t believe this is how I learned it
Finally a video about them
It’s not copyright the snow one is changed red because the original illustrations of the first Snow White story she wore red
To be fair to the original tale of sleeping beauty, fairies use to be less benevolent and more monsters who played pranks and tricks on people, so it probably seemed the perfect prank to pull to them
"prank"
@@jellojiggler1693 believe it or not this is one of the most harmless pranks fairies have pulled in folklore
Wasn’t Cinderella’s story also a bit darker?
@@Shantae1188 oh yes. The Grimms version involved the step sisters cutting pieces off their own feet to get them into the slipper. When they ultimately fail their eyes are pecked out by birds.
@@jpblack2148 That’s what I thought
2:03 You missed part of the effect there...
Man I love the love work of archetype also I’m both big fan and admire of his work on Yugioh archetype video I hope he videos of archetype like Cyber angel Artifact White Aura Agent / Hyperion Battleguard Dinowrestler Frightfurs Harpie Hazy Flame Legendary Planets Maju Salamangreat Simorgh
Well that's one version of sleeping beauty.
We need an episode on cult heros of cards
*Lillie plays Fairy Tail Rella and Super Polymeraztion to fuse it with herself now*
I have glass heels and she’s my favorite card!!!!
A new Fairy Tail monster? How about:
Fairy Tail - Reed: Spellcaster, Light, Fairy, 1850 Atk, 1000 Def.
Other Fairy Tail Monsters:
Riel (an Otter) - Little Mermaid
Rabby (Rabbit) - Rapunzel
Ruby (Wolf) - Red Riding Hood
Fah (Red Panda) - Mulan
Keep up the great work TGS! Love the archetype videos!
You had to have the image of a weasel. That image reminds me of a moving weasel and hearing music from mario land 2: 6 golden coins.
Disney: Damn it, we can’t copyright this.
Ahh fairy tale. Probably a decent archetype but everyone only ever remember fairy tail snow and how completely freaking busted it is as a lvl 4 spellcaster
On your next video, you should do a Duel Analysis with one of these duels from Duelist Kingdom arc:
- Yugi vs Joey (Best of Friends Best of Duelists)
- Kaiba vs Pegasus (Creator vs Champion)
- Yugi vs Pegasus (Match of the Millennium)
I recommend you choose Yugi and Joey because it was the best duel ever since it was the only filler duel that was shown in the anime and because the dub version used the greatest song: "No Matter What". It really touched me with excitement
Such a missed opportunity to name them Fhairy Tail.
I'M ALL FIRED U--oh wait wrong Fairy Tail.
The true love's kiss would not work since if she is asleep she can never fall in love with someone
Before I saw the cards, I thought there were going to be references to the Fairy Tail manga XD
Fairy Tail Foil (Foil= Sword)
This card is also treated as a Spellcaster while in the Hand or GY
I would love one based on Mulan (she would so be a dragon) not sure what she could do tho in terms of effects
Hey TGS Anime, PLZ do the "Meklord" or the "Timelord" archetype next!🙏
I would think that cerellas effect that no player can target cards with spell effects except for her references to the glass shoe fitting no one but her
Please do videos on the skull servant, mecha phantom beast, battlin boxer, super quant, & dinowrestler archetypes
I immediately started laughing upon reading the archetype’s name, since I have a Fairy Tail volume next to me.
Snow why did you had to go - song
actually the thorns around the castle was maleficent after prince phillip escaped her castle with the help of the three fairies
I’m predicting that there’s gonna be a flood of people who watched this video to start playing these cards
Elemental hero Larry
Fairy Tail is also the name of one of the best anime/manga series.
most of them are canine, but 1 is feline and 1 is mudslide
I'll make one
Fairy tail locks
Based on goldielocks
Can not be destroied by an opponets monster with more attack points and not deal damage if the opposing monster has less attack points
Yeah can we all do have her gauntlet and maybe and she might have a metal
