Martin, you don't have to use French press for your coffee in the Philippines. Just boil the water, then put a few tablespoons of coffee in the boiling water. Simmer it. Don't let it overflow. Remove from the stove. Cover it. Once the coffee grains sink to the bottom of the pot, pour the coffee using the strainer into your coffee mug. You will enjoy the boiled coffee grains much better than the French press coffee maker.

MarVe ❤️❤️ enjoyed the simple life in Pilar Sorsogon in a nice 2 story house atop a hill in the middle of the jungle 🌴 near the sea 💦 . That fresh tuna, grilled talong n seaweed yummy fresh catch 🐬 . A time to rejuvenate n unwind 🥰 .

Hi martin , thank you for your vlogs, nice seeing you and ave visiting many beautiful places here in the phils . Fyi "laing “ is made from gabi leaves / taro (gabi) leaves cooked in coconut cream ! Its a national dish of bicolanos. The taste gets better the day after . Btw my father is spanish bicolano from Magallanes , Sorsogon . Wish you could visit more of sorsogon ! Maybe try visiting Donsol so you can swim with the gentle whale sharks ! Stay safe alwys !

I'm so envious seeing you guys touring little islands. I just came back home here in Stockton, California from visiting my family from Pampanga. During my vacation I was able to go to El Nido, Puerto Princesa and Tagaytay. I recommend for you guys to stop by in San Fernando or Angeles city and try Crabs and Cracks restaurant.
That's why it's good to live in the Philippines everything is almost fresh no chemicals & fish are not frozen

Laing is the first Bicolano dish that I learned to cook . That was in the late 1950's.Our Bicolana neighbour in Surigao del Sur taught me how to. I miss those carefree days. This beautiful video reminds me of my childhood days growing up in the islands, farms, & jungles of Surigao and it's making me so excited and eagerly looking forward to my coming holiday there in the Philippines (God willing🙏) Thank you again Martin & Ave for this amazing video.

Sorsogon is my home town. My last visit was in 2012. Hope to visit Sorsogon soon. I miss the food and I was hungry while watching the food hehehe.
