The CTX 800 is my main!! It sounds just as good as the Yamaha mx49. That’s secondary. I agree with you sir. Casio is really shaking up things. Why you think korg is making these breed of entry level arrangers and synths?? It’s to target lil ole Casio. Rich Formidoni that used to showcase korg boards, works at Casio now.

I have one and I swear to y’all the pianos on there is super. EP’s too. Hell ALL the instruments is amazing. By looking at it you’ll think it’s ok but it’s my main. This and Yamaha mx49. It sounds just as good as the Yamaha and the keys feel pretty good too!! I bet that’s why this guy is playing the hell out of it. For specs it doesn’t have spring action but whatever they have going on, is great. It’s not like another keyboard, but what they have is good too. My only thing is the body but we take care our sexy ladies sooooo.... if you’re debating on getting it, this model is the entry to the flagships of 4 I think. I have the 800. Same as that but with a pitch wheel. It’ll be good main or secondary. I use it main cause it surprises tf out of people
I like the sound of the CT-X700 more, but it fade away too fast, the decay is too short. I like the sound of the MX49 a little less than the CT-X700's sound, but I like the longer decay on the MX. Also, does the MX have Pedal Resonance or Sympathetic String Resonance or whatever they call that? (The CT-X700 doesn't have, it keeps the sound nice and clean (no "sustain pedal muddiness" issue) but less realistic.)

okay now casio learned a lot. the keyboard has stunning sounds. but still the design is still toyish. i believe casio will adress this when time comes. i have a yamaha psr e353 and im feeling a bit jealous listening to this casio keyboard. the sound is more dynamic and more fuller than my yamaha and its more cheaper even though. i hope customs will not put so much importation tax here in philippines so that i can buy that cheaply here.
I just saw a teardown and this casio is not different in construction than any other casio toy keyboard, all the magic is in their new samples and sound processor.

@@alyssaisuela You need a quarter inch male to male cable and a Quarterinch female to 1/8 inch male connector. Connect one side to the keyboard to quarter inch male cable. Connect other part of the cable to the quarter inch femals part of the connector. Connect the 1/8 inch male connector to your phone.

You can edit tone quality in this. There are 100 DSP effects. If you have really good ears you can make it sound much more richer by applying those effects and editing tone.
I am doing research on entry level keyboards for my beginner students for about 2 months now, and I haven't encountered one yet, but they might exist. I think a "no-speaker" keyboard is usually a stage keyboard, because stages have their speaker systems.

As far as I know, all Casio keyboards and digital pianos come with a Casio sustain pedal.
(Casio SP-2 or something like that is its "codename").
