Lesson 243: Believing is Possessing.

The scriptures teach that we receive from God by faith, and that without faith no one can receive anything from God.
By faith, we received the right to become children of God, which means we have everything to qualify us to be called children of God.
We possess the promises of God when we believe in God's word and promises. And through obedience and engaging the Spirit, we release and manifest what we received by faith as children of God.
For many Christians, it is by works that they believe they receive; rather, it is by faith that we receive, and by obedience we experience the promises of God.
When we believe God's word, we receive the blessings contained in the Word, and then we walk in those blessings through obedience.
