The one thing about optic is their roster always look stacked on paper but actually underperformed in games. This series was prob the most hyped one just to see optic get smacked 3 flat.

Team chemistry is everything. You can have the best slayers in the league, but if they don’t have chemistry they’re useless together.
Other teams are stacked too. Makes you wonder if optic is really good or can be really good.
the amount of flanks shottzy ran while his team was fighting is insane. And then most of them were blind countered too or a basic trade.

I was beefing with someone in the previous optic video and said that if they play like they did against legion, they arent beating ATL, NY, or TOR in the major. Look what happened. Optic got exposed and it does help that faze is better on 150 HP games. Also, the fact Pred came out on twitter saying they lost due to "Lag", when the only mode that was close was HP is childish. 7-0 BBY

First off yes embarrassing performance by optic, but I’m okay with getting 3-0d if last year was any testament beating faze only gave them what they needed to beat us when it mattered, now all optic needs to do is look at the Strats, these are 3 of fazes strongest maps, and if I’ve see anything from optic I was shocked to not see terminal or honestly any other map.
@@tobiasketteringham7201 last year wasnt a 150 hp game though. the gun skill matters more in this game which faze has more of than any other team. if history repeats itself, faze will be the best team this year. faze is good on terminal as well and wouldnt matter much if it was in the rotation.
They have only played bad teams but it’s so much hype and media around the team any little thing they do is overhyped they beat 3 bad teams and was being. Called the best bc their game was close against nsyl, shotzy just runs around the map that doesn’t work against faze wen he has to actually shoot back, pred is coming off a bad team last season where he could just get kills, dashy is great when sitting still shooting straight but his weakness is him moving aroud the map he’s vulnerable, and Kenny is a team player who plays his best with a cohesive unit and this isnt is😅 a cohesive group of guys, optic will get exposed hard at the major scump has saved this team for years you’ll see they are 4th best behind Toronto, atl faze and nsyl until they get away from dashy and shotzy they won’t win

Optic teams genuinely have a lot more luxuries because of their org. This leads to complacency. Their streams are still going to grow even if optic isn’t even a top 4 team. Where is the motivation to get better as a team? Especially when they could make more money consistently just by streaming. It’s so abundantly clear that optic doesn’t grind as much as other pro teams.

tbh this series was closer then i thought. yeah it was a 3-0 but I thought FAZE would dominate all the maps. But I think Optic did a good job. FAZE is just on another lever compared to every other CDL Team rightnow. I know Optic wants to be on the same level, but they aren't there yet. Yet this was a performance you can work on and try to get better step by step.
I hope they can become a good contender for some titels. I'm not an Optic Fan, but for the exitment and the entertainment I would love to see good and close games (and different champions)

If you're really that good you can go check out Zoomaa on twitch. He's a retired pro that puts on tournaments every couple of weeks with his subs which are top ranked players or guys from the amateur scene and the team to make it to the end of the tournament gets to play vs one of the pros or more depending on the situation. He let's anyone get in as long as they are subbed.

okay so like ive been drinking and smoking butttttt gota watch the OpTic boys. Anyways, imo, changing the color of the arrow, for the current spectated PoV, would improve the viewer experience. I understand the mini map is important for pros but for a causual spectator it pretty much means nothing. Like it doesnt surve an obvious purpose. Im looking/watching the FP view not the minimap. The minimap basically tells the same story as the first person PoV but with little contex. A highlighted "arrow" would help, imo, with a bit more understanding of the current setup on the minimap. Im assuming there is a delay on the streams so the location couldnt be exploaitable
