I am so proud to be a Jamaican and to see how people of all walks of life are moved and influenced by the the bass and drums of the reggae music. Never get tired of listening, night and day, that's all all i know. So, eye opening, teahes us to be mindful and to loose sight of the facts that we are African, scattered home and abroad. The music will never die.

I loved Bob Marley... deeply. When I lived in Leadville, Colorado I had a pop-top VW kombie and named it "NESTA" :) Some friends, my girlfriend and I rode in Nesta to Red Rocks to see Peter Tosh and many other reggae performers; a brilliant day.
Dick Gregory was a brilliant man that might have directed America in an honest direction. I say "might" because after Obama, the U.S. elected Pumpkin Head and the country is a fu#*ing mess now. And how could 1.2 thousand people give this video a 'thumbs-down'?! I left the U.S. in 1997 and have no intention of returning. Love, luck and blessings all of my brothers and sister in America & the world. Follow the Way of the great Tao - follow nature, follow your heart.....

It's sad how our generation only thinks of him as a "pot head who sang chill songs". I have to say as I grew up I heard about him but did not know much as others. As soon as I heard Dick Gregory being introduced I was happy, then he started talking and that stream of consciousness came pouring out ( I was 2 in 79), which is 100% up my alley and I had to laugh...Indeed history repeats itself over and over. I think I did not understand Mr. Bob Marley's music until I saw it placed in this context of social change and global ideals and humanitarianism and positive change. Now that I see it in its proper context, apart from a pop romanticism of the man and his music, it makes much sense what his lyrics and music were trying to accomplish. One love, thanks for this upload.

C Dill Indeed. I was quite young also at the time I first listened to Bob Marley, maybe like 13 or 14 years old back in the mid-90's. Listening to him some 20+ years later is very cool and eye-opening. Back then I was really into the music part of it, but now I see he was onto something much greater. Definitely a great "understanding space" moment!

TheJofrica : "Now, you see the light . . . ."😂😂😂 Welcome to the enlightened club. This is where JAH'S messages speak to the minds, souls, and spirits of the "called" through the vessel of the lyrics of Robert (Bob) Nesta Marley -- not forgetting the collaboration with Peter Tosh. What we do with such awareness, I believe, is to love JAH and trust HIM with everything, love one another as we love ourselves, be good to each other, seek the truth in relation to JAH'S ways, and pursue righteousness. And JAH'S peace which . . . . and minds.
