Hannah Lee I’m 23, single since birth, and still waiting. I’d be lying if I said I don’t become impatient from time to time in this regard, but one thing I learned is that if you trust in Jesus, you’ll realize that God will never withhold any good thing. He is wiser than any of us, and if in His infinite wisdom He thinks you’re better off single right now, then He’s going to keep you single. That’s not to say you’ll be single forever, but when God’s timing is right, he’ll send someone into your life. I hope this helps!
I was older than both of you before my first kiss. Don't regret it at all. It will happen when your chapter says it will. And the longer the wait the more magical it becomes.
I think the boundaries question is really difficult because we are all different but before I got married I always followed a couple of bits of advice that I learned. Firstly, the more physical you get with someone, the more intimate, then the greater the pain if and/or when that relationship breaks down. Secondly, if you're not prepared for the consequences of your actions (ie have a baby with that person as a lifelong committment) then you certainly shouldn't be doing anything that makes that a possibility. There are also many ways people can interpret Scripture on the whole boundaries question. For example, evangelical Christians would say that sex before marriage is wrong - even with your long term partner or even fianceé because the sex act is the intimate connection between two people replicating Christ's love for his bride - the Church. But there are those who say that marriages break down so why is that any different? Or a more liberal approach could be a desire to share a genuine sexual love act with someone you care deeply about and therefore the motivation becomes the most important part. Furthermore, some people are more easily carried away and therefore a relatively innocent and low level intimate act of hand holding can quickly escalate into kissing, then petting and before you know it, there is an uncompromising situation occuring. Other people are able to exercise a greater level of self-control. Another piece of advice given to me during my teenage years by a wise and seasoned Christian was that to decide how far was too far before you get into a relationship because once you start you cannot undo anything you may wish you hadn't done. The Bible say anything done in unbelieve is sin. So then?????? ...it's simple being in relationships were unbelieve abound. Not being sure if the one is the right one...... is in fact unbelieve/sin. Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
It's simple. Ask a couple if they will be married in very near future? If they say no or disagree, you ask what's the point then. Isn't it the same when ask are you entering God's kingdom? If you not convinced? Then something is very wrong!
3:50 I know this has nothing to do with the video and I agree with what you say we all naturally want to love someone and be loved but Christans/religion will say that is only for straight people only. and that gay people don't experience real love it's all just lust etc.. We just want to love who we wanna love being gay is not a sin. (All this coming from a Christian teen who's also Bisexual)
