This is one of my favorite movie series. I just had to make it in celebration of its release. Always felt that Halo 5's ads were very Mission Impossible-esque, so I embraced that. Now, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to watch this trailer. Only then can you be truly ready for the fallout.
UncookedMoa Well I did find this on the official halo discord. Was that you? Maybe you should try to reach out to other halo you tubers such as HiddenXperia, the ActMan etc. I wish you luck! I’m subbed and can’t wait for more! 👍
if they ever make a Halo movie they need to use this song in the trailer because the way you did this edit was amazing. It blended perfectly with the world that is Halo. This definitely needs more views.
Damn that was really damn good. Never really got into the Halo games, but shit did you nail the feeling and vibe of the trailer. Not to mention the scenes and dialogue you chose were on point as well as the precise editing. Gotta day I just had two things I would’ve changed though: would’ve kept the aspect ratio the same all the way throughout, and I would’ve had “Steve Downes” instead of “when the Best goes rogue” cuz 1. It was “Tom Cruise” and 2. The I was expecting another text to follow yours up since it’s kind of open-ended. But those are just some minors things that definitely don’t detract from the overall fucking amazing ness. Keep it up!
Thanks. After watching your trailer edits, something clicked for me. I don't know how to describe it in words, but it made me realize what I was missing in my trailer edits, so I adjusted my style appropriately. My previous trailer edits were underwhelming. As for the aspect ratio, I actually didn't realize the titles would also need to be the in same aspect ratio as well, lol (Also apparently forgot about that Warthog part). For the text, I changed it from an actor to a trailer tagline on purpose. The open ended part was an experiment. Didn't work apparently. Will keep that in mind. The Halo games aren't for everyone, yes. The story, though admittedly generic, does have its moments, and the books delve further into its expansive lore. For instance, my favorite Halo book, First Strike, deals with time crystals and slipspace bubbles. It's not Denis Villeneuve or Christopher Nolan level, mind you, but it gets the job done. Most of my enjoyment with Halo probably stems from the fact that it's my childhood game. I was born with it, and played it since Halo CE. My gaming taste is much more diverse now, and I prefer storylines such as what you'd find in BioShock (shame you can't find stories like this often), but Halo still stays with me today. It's nostalgic for me, and I feel like Halo always nails its gameplay with a decent story accompanying it. If you let me direct a Halo story, I'd try to make it more complex. I'm thinking Arrival level politics and complications, courtesy of Denis Villeneuve. I understand if you don't like Halo, as it stands now, but there's an untapped potential for Halo, if you ask me. Something that neither Bungie or 343 understand, or heck, even most of its fanbase. Which Halo game did you try before deciding you couldn't get into it? (Unless, of course, you never tried them at all)
Hey Uncook. How much I do respect you and your style. But, I kinda wanna give you a challange against me. Do you accept? I have conditions for the challange. The video as to be one minute, or that of lower than two minutes. You must try to use only footages from Halo 1 to 3. In a sense-- Try to make it like a trailer to the games. Let us see who can win? ^>^ I do hope we can have some more fun like this in the future, if you do accept. Heehee

I can’t deny that this was just a great trailer
Dude this is awesome! Well done!
I guess I'm your first like. Love your videos mate!
WOW! This deserves much more recognition!
Thanks! I'm having difficulty advertising this. I'd appreciate some help.

Very well done! This should have way more views😭

Umm... It's the Mission Impossible Fallout trailer music. They can't do that. Well, maybe the first part, yeah. But the MI theme will never happen.
This. This makes me want to play Halo from the beginning again.
Holy shit you made the fight between them better than the actual game
This should have been halo 5s story

Can this PLEASE be a thing?
Holy shit, you actually made me want to play halo 5 which I don’t like that much ahah
Nice!
Oooh. Thanks. Straight from the top guy of Halo trailer mashups. That sounds like an achievement to me.
Thanks for saying that. I hope to see more edits from you!
117 likes, anyone?!

I'll disavow you for that comment.
No, the uploader was first.
