3:28 I bought the outboard plate for $100, my friend took it to the local metal shop who copied it for $20 its been on his kayak for months no problems. FYI also, Home depot $3/foot rubber matt works hreat as a full bottom keel protector when applied with polyethaline epoxy adhesive.
stumbled on your page, underdog? naaa pretty darn cool set up! i have had my f12 since 2016 and i still love it! with the new unlimited out there i know my next boat. tight lines
Thank You! My buddy just got the Unlimited & we took it out today, side by side with my F12, it's very nice, the handle in the back is much better & the handles/paddle holders on each side are very nice. Not a huge difference in performance or fishability, the F12 is still awesome.
Hello there saw your comment on outdoor in Maryland, That is a fantastic Idea to move around the Kayak. you have a great kayak, thank you and take care my friend
Been doing a lot of research on a new kayak. F12 is in my top 2! The other is the Jackson Bite FD, not sure where I will end up. Anyone with experience one way or the other would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for this video by the way, very helpful!
If I hadn’t gone with the peddle drive of the Native Slayer, this was the Kayak I was going to get . I absolutely love the swivel seat. That is an awesome kayak, you are going to be very happy with your choice. The Suzuki will be a game changer. Looking forward to seeing you and your new toy in action. Great review Andy , Congrats !
Thanks Don, appreciate the feedback. I like the peddle drive because you can peddle back & stay in position, but was interested in the gas motor. Can't wait to fish with it.
@@AngelmanBlog You'll love the Frontier 12, I also own an F10 & it's great. I use the Newport electric trolling motor with a cheap deep cycle lead acid battery from Walmart. No need for a gas motor unless your fighting river current.
@@underdogoutdoors I’m fishing in Jamaica Bay and the South Shore of Long Island in NY ...I carry a two gallon spare gas can with me...always... Tight lines and Happy Holidays bro!
I love my F12, been hunting ducks with her for 2 years now. Been using a trolling motor but I’m really thinking of upgrading to that Suzuki to save on weight. What size gas tank are you running and how far have you gone?
It's an internal gas tank, not sure the capacity, but it runs for about an hour, & still had gas. I don't even carry any spare fuel. Usually I run against the current up river & then drift back.
Nice review, how do you like the 360 degree seat? I have a bad shoulder and have a hard time reaching behind me in my current setup, that seat looks great. Also I love the idea of using a dolly for transport.
I like these kind of blue collar projects like your kayak cart. So simple and effective. God bless you this coming season
Thanks brother!

That’s a great looking setup! That will be a great tight spot/swallow water rig 👍
Thanks Brother.
Amazing videos good content keep sharing I'm watching from japan... Keep safe I'm waiting for your another videos
Thanks brother! I appreciate the kind words.
I really want this model. I love that you can fish one or two people.
Far as kayaks go, this one is a beast.
Great video once again. Love the chair
Michael, you are so kind.
That is some serious power right there. 👍 I’m thinking about a motor for my yak, but it most likely be an electric one.
Thanks, I still have not tested it on the water, I just got an electric on Amazon & likely will use it more than the gas.

Also, thanks for the review of the Suzuki motor. I may go with this one instead of the Honda.
Thanks for the kind words. I think either motor will work well. I'm happy with the Suzuki.
Excellent description
At the 6:36 mark you caught me for I thought I was experiencing dejavu. :)
Yes, it was an editing blooper that I decided to let go! Thanks for watching!
@@underdogoutdoors loved the video overall and about to get our new Frontier 12. That blooper got me thinking it was my old-timers. :)

I’ve seen some bow mount trolling motors on this boat. Having spotlock to anchor would make this a very capable fishing kayak.
How’s it handle shallow water? Does it have some sort of kick back system for running into rocks?
I've hit tons of rocks & rocky bottoms, it's light & kicks back, a little scratched but never damaged. I have a spare prop, but never needed it.
Great Review! Thank You!
Nice video of the Nucanoe Frontier 12 kayak with outboard motor for hunting and fishing. Enjoyed and liked. New here. 10:25
Thank you, I appreciate you watching.
Excellent review Brother!!
Much appreciated!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great setup! I have the original Frontier with a 2hp Tohatsu... how much was the Suzuki? How much spare gas do you carry when you go out?
Thanks! I don't usually carry any spare gas, but I'm still new at this. I like to go upstream with the motor & drift back with the current.

Do you use a layout blind in it?
@@anonymous_friend I haven't personally used it for hunting yet, but lots of people do.
Great work! I like the mods on the dolly. What lake was that?
Thanks brother, that was Round Valley reservoir in New Jersey.

Thank You. I didn't know how I would like the 360 seat, now after using it a season, I can't live without it, highly recommend it.
What paddle is that?
I think it's a Werner? I will double check. Got it on Amazon for about $180.
Werner Tybee Hooked Adjustable Fiberglass-Reinforced Kayak Fishing Paddle-Brown-260-280cm
where is the gas stored
Sorry for the delay, it has an built in (to the motor) fuel tank. Sips fuel, goes a long way.
