- Hello all, thanks for stopping by. In this video I work on a knife with a missing handle. It's an Antique Keen Kutter Knife. Made between 1870-1940. I used a Red Oak board I bought from Lowe's to make the handle.
Hey Kevin,
Fantastic find!
Another awesome restoration, great job brother 😎👍🏻
Great job Kevin, beautiful match on the oak.
Good looking knife and the scale matches the other in color
Thank you!
That turned out really nice!! 👍
Thank you!!
Nice work Doc,👍🔪🏆💯
That’s a sweet old knife, we don’t see too many Keen Kutters here on the East Coast. Impressed the stain came out that black I wasn’t expecting it to look that dark and shiny
Thanks. It was a great find!
Man oh man that's a good looking pattern, Im restoring a Barlow Brand Barlow with brass bolsters and im using black walnut. Thanks for everything i learn from you
That is AWESOME!! That’s Beautiful wood to work with! I’ve never had the luxury to work with it. Thanks for watching and the support!
Just subscribed because I love collecting new and vintage traditional pocket knives, also some guns are vintage fishing reels. Keep'em coming and I'll keep watching.
Thanks for supporting! New video should be out tomorrow. 1973 Case XX Sod Buster!!
Yeah me too I love going to flea markets and digging around to find a good knife but most of the time these days it’s just easier to find them on eBay, but you’re gonna pay more probably. Speaking of fishing reels I got a nice old Mitchell 300 for $5 at my local flea market a few weeks ago. It was dirty and sounded like something was loose inside, but after complete disassembly and regreasing and oiling it down it’s been running fine. Nothing better than a good flea market find
@@tango-bravo the Mitchell 300 is a great reel
Great craftsmanship Kev....😊👍🏻👍🏻
Wow! Thanks for info and the step by step video. Great job!
Thank you!!
