@@jenemba3the exploration in sumeru is just a lot less fun than Fontaine imo. Sumeru puzzles actually require you to focus entirely while not being all that fun to do to unlike events. At least for me, sumerus desert and myriad of underground areas just made the stuff a lot more confusing and pushed me away from wanting to explore while Fontaine was just much more enjoyable to explore
As someone who started playing when the desert came out, I understand why players became burnt out. As a new player at that time, I was just excited because I heard the lore was so good. The desert area was my first 100% because I enjoyed the music and the lore so much there. Now that we’re in Natlan though, I feel really bored with the game. No Natlan character excites me so I’m just waiting for reruns.
I've been doing the desert quests the past few weeks and it has been loads of fun. There is a lot of interesting lore. The quests also bring you to most areas, so as long as you get everything with the interactive map while you're there it shouldn't be too bad. Or you'll even have fun, like I'm experiencing
Hey there, just wanted to mention that chev isn’t necessarily required to have her c6 like how faruzan is, chev at c0 already gives resistance shred and attack from her held skill. Aside from some quality of life features in her cons, her c6 provides team wide healing and up to 60% dmg bonus for electro and pyro. Just wanted to clear that up. Loved the video!

Min/maxing tip for region reputation. They recently changed game behavior from rewarding mora weekly to rewarding xp potions on limited basis (once you hit max rep, no more rewards). What this means is that you are heavily disincentivized from redeeming quests for reputation, as doing so will "waste" reputation and block you from getting xp potions for x weeks. The only benefit of redeeming quest reputation is if you don't care about leveling artifacts and just want to speedrun to treasure compass, wings, etc.

Sumeru is actually what brought me back to genshin. Before sumeru was released i got super burned out by inazuma, i absolutely hated it, but since sumeru was released, I've been back pretty consistently. I loved sumeru, and felt so overwhelmed when Fontain came out, but i finally managed to get around to it.

I thought I'd chip in regarding the reputation advice mentioned around 8:20 Now that we are no longer allowed to continue doing Bounties and Requests for the weekly mora since 5.0 update I feel like it's completely fine to finish Reputation Level via Bounties & Requests before completing quests since this will give more mora. It's not time-efficient in terms of Reputation level but if you don't care about rushing it or prefer the mora then just continue doing Bounties & Requests until max.

I'm one of the people that 100% completed sumeru desert and the burnout is real, I ended up taking a break from the game when fontaine released and then came back like 2 months later played for like a week and quited again and again and again so basically ever since I quited then I couldn't start playing like I used to and I missed out on so many events and it feels so weird I used to play this game everyday like from 6h minimum to 16h sometimes even multiple accounts. I used to be a perfectionist on this game and now I barely do a quest, miss out a lot of dailyes and even tho I get new chars they are left unbuilded (I am a whale, well kind of? I just go for a copy of each char and maybe weapon too but char takes priority)

Since the world quest give rewards regardless of reputation rank So considering that it's actually better to NOT do your world quests until your reach maximum reputation. That's from a min-maxing perspective obviously. Tl,dr. Weekly Reputation Quests give Mora that you can no longer get once your reach max Reputation. So it's better to NOT do world quests until your max level.
You are right about the cap that blocks your weeklies once you hit max reputation. However, the rewards have been changed to xp potions now, no longer mora. Also, DOING world quests is perfectly fine, it's just REDEEMING reputation from them that will end up blocking your weeklies sooner.

Why most of the people complaining about the dessert. To me it's way easier to explore rather than the forest. Once you've done the heavy quest related to the dessert you'll find all the undergrounds aren't that hard to explore and don't make me started with the reewards

I started playing during semeru and I really liked it. Burnout might just be from playing so long. Though people seem to really hate semeru xD so idk

Yep, Chev is already at 80% of power power at c0. She's incredible no matter the con
faruzan is still usable at c0. Just make sure she has like 300 percent energy recharge and the whole team on favonious weapons 🫠😭
i'm at C5 for faruzan as someone who plays a lot of anemo characters so I'm currently in hell ☹️

Why most of the people complaining about the dessert. To me it's way easier to explore rather than the forest. Once you've done the heavy quest related to the dessert you'll find all the undergrounds aren't that hard to explore and don't make me started with the reewards
