@@AnaxOne σωστά.... απλά πάτησα το διπλανό πλήκτρο....
Greek Australian here... Awesome content. Thank you
You just bring me some childhood memories from my hometown puerto cabello. Grandma and my uncles used to sit on their plastic chairs in front of the house just to see people passing by and talk to each other from afternoon until sleeping time. 🥺
I am from Portugal, I'll be travelling for the first time to Greece now in July. It has been amazing to watch your videos!
As usual we had a good giggle and a few sips last night at Παναγιώτης.
I travel to Lefkada next week, second year, super excited. Last year I visit Lefka, Halkidiki, Thasos, Greece is amaizing
Jiasas, it’s amazing how a cosmopolitan, finds joy at the minor things in life, a walk, the sea, a drink etc….
Hi Daniel, great video 👍
Here in a Canadian city Toronto where I live everyone is so busy with their hectic life there is no time to speak with your neighbours. Life in Nafplio is much more slower paced that’s for sure.
I admire you and your vlogs ... Bravo 👏👏👏 καλή συνέχεια ... I'm half Greek/Egyptian living in Cairo, Egypt, and in Aθens during summer months... my daughters live in Aθens... I follow up all your vlogs daily... and I wish we could meet one day in real, if we go to Nafplio, or if you come to Aθens... 🙏 by the way I'm a musician "Classic Music" I play the Flute... I love all your music...
Hola Daniel. Buenos días desde Vancouver, Canada.

Nafplio, what a place! Your Greek are also impressive! Well done!
my pc teacher miss Vasiliki, when i was to school maaaaaaaaany years ago is half Venezuelan
καλημερα αδελφε μου, εισαι σα και μας πλεον
My Greek language teacher, Evgenia, here on Syros, her parents lived in Venezuela - she came here when she was 5. They are of Greek heritage though. She said a lot of people came back back then, due to the economy, even back then. She said there used to be a big Greek community there. Which we still have in Australia. You look very Australian in those flip flops Daniel))
There are more people of Greek heritage living outside of Greece than Greeks from Greece 😏
Huge diaspora, I doubt there is a country that Greeks haven't immigrated to 😉

Just want to say you are doing a great job with this channel. Love the topics, very informative and honest. I am in a similar position here in this beautiful country. Peace.
North Carolina!! & great video!!
From Athens ❤
Hola amigos Daniel Rodrigo and takis.mui bien video's.❤
Hello from Kastoria, Καλημέρα από Καστοριά 😊
I love the perspective you are giving us through these videos - thank you 🙏
I share your videos with my husband and enjoy watching them together. We are going back to Greece this Summer - we are in love with this country!
We are both born and raised in America but my parents are Colombian and his parents are Mexican and I noticed there is a lot of similarities in Greece in the culture and even how shops and the streets are laid out. Sometimes it feels like Greece is the Latin American in Europe haha
Anyway thank you for sharing!
Οι Έλληνες έχουν περισσότερα κοινά με τους Βαλκάνιους και τους Λατίνοαμερικανους πάρα με τους υπόλοιπους Ευρωπαίους. 🇬🇷
Thumb's up for tsipouro, thumb's down for padofla from the wife/girlfriend/mother if you drink tsipouro (if you know what i mean).
Padofla in greek(?) Means sleepers usually wore at the beach and/or house. They are landed at the head of the husband/boyfriend/son head
Padofla : flip flops
😂😂😂
"Padofla" is also used for naming open ferries (e.g. ferries from Piraeus to Perama)
@@elimonchanneland navy landing ships / troops carriers 😉
The real name of this is sayonara somehow we call flip flops that way in Greece😂
ahhh, the best Shop in Nafplio :D Always nice to see !
i love you dude! i watch all your videos, they are just so interesting!
Alexander the great once said that you don't need to be born in Greece to be a Greek. You only need to think like a Greek and embody Hellenic values.
🧿🇬🇷
Hi Daniel, another interesting insight into daily greek life. Would you be able to talk about/shoot a video on your wife's perspective on Greece? was she more than happy to move or were there reservations and how did you come to the decision of moving together?
His wife is Greek, all her family is in Greece
🎉 From Athens Greece. Lived in Birmingham for a year. Life over there is very different, not my cup of tea ☕
Enjoyed video.
Great video!
thank you for sharing! Love these type of videos!!!
2025 i will visit both of you.Greetings from Turkey.
You're doing a good job following your dream. Even if it wasn't easy, i'm sure your wife understood your dream and wanted to support it ❤
Είσαι αξιολατρευτος! =You are adorable.
Athens
Can't get over how much good food is in a small shop!!!!! In the UK we have small shops but they only stock cheap food and lloads of rubbish. Hope the Greeks keep their culture but have doubts.
hello from Athens.
Really enjoying all your videos.
Great work 👏👏
Nafplio looks beautiful and will definitely visit.
❤
Hello, born & raised Greek from Philadelphia, USA.
Congrats on your good work showcasing Greece.
I’ve never done a RUclips video so I don’t know whether you re “stuck” with its translation” tool. If it allows overriding it please type «τσίπουρο», “tsipouro” not, “Chapo, cheaper, cheap poodle” that last one had me laughing 😂instead of the words RUclips made up by the sound.
“Bakaliko” instead of “balico”
Also please clarify was Panayotis drinking ouzo? You said “mastiha” and I was curious if ouzo is what you meant.
"mastiha" is a sweet liqueur produced with the mastiha tree resin from Chios. It is usually consumed as a digestif and it has become quite popular in the last 10-15 years. If you haven't tried it already, it's a must try on your next visit. Take care.
Make sure you tag those tsipouro bottles properly... Thirsty tsipouro accidents are the worst :D
Hello from Holland,
Venezuela vs Mexico (COPA)
Congratulations on a well-deserved victory! You must be thrilled! What a win! I'm sure this victory means so much to your country. There's going to be a huge celebration tonight for sure. So happy for you and your team!
Viva Venezuela!!!!
🏴🙏
What do you think of Greek coffee?
🎉Jan
Oh so you already knew each other :D. I see what you did there... 🤔🤔
Is there a video where you say what job are you doing in Greece?
You sold me on Greece but not all of us can work online. We still need to eat and feed our kids. My job doesn’t really work on line Greece jobs don’t pay! You should make a video on that. A lot of Greeks are leaving Greece because of that. I understand the grass is greener on the other side. Beautiful skies and water don’t put food on table
It really depends on a lot of factors
For example if you have a place to live in, if you can buy an apartment or whatever can make a huge difference
What kind of job you do
Alot of jobs are basic income style but there are sectors out there well paid
About 900.000 Greeks left the country after the 08 crisis but here is the thing
The vast majority of them had university degrees that were desperately needed in northern Europe, medical professionals, lawyers ect an average guy has no chance of a better life as an immigrant and that's why as we say here in Greece many of them returned with the " tail behind the legs"
It's also very common to see Greek companies earning contracts in Abroad and rotate workers from Greece almost like a military deployment, instead of locals because Greek technicians and blue collar workers have a good name 😉
Ofc those workers are going to get 5 or even 6 times the amount of money they would have gotten working the entire year in Greece
Other well paid sectors are shipping, restaurant business, truck driving ( international transports) and self employment at anything that doesn't have to do with domestic markets
If you are really into it you can make it
Probably you will never become rich in Greece but you can definitely make a modest lifestyle if it's what you are looking 😉
@@Pavlos_Charalambous are you born and raised in Greece or a person made money outside of Greece and moved there?
Can we have visit your gym.. And services
How about florina... Cost of living and culture
How would he know? It is in a totally different place of the country, on the mountains, near the northern borders. Same country, but vastly different location. E.g. He might see snow once per 5 years in Nafplio and have snow in Florina for at least 2 months per year.
Oh I guess you can't shop at Lidl ))
