I have a Tesla model Y and you don’t have to charge it every hour to two hours . I’m not sure who told you that . I have done multiple road trips in ours you charge to the limit and then drive to the next charging station . But hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip .

@@DanielleLaShawn I get what you are saying yes it will tell you how much to charge and when to do it to make sure your car stays charged until to make it to your next charging station . Essentially it the same as if you were stopping to get gas and it costs way less . ♥️
I'm not sure why it was making me stop so often. I averages about 2 hours between stops, which I thought was a lot. I was going to get a Rivian, but now I'm not sure. 😭 How do you like your Tesla?
