You guys would absolutely LOVE celebrity cruises. I never thought I’d like cruising but their ships are so nice, clean and relaxing. They have an extreme focus on health- specifically in aqua class where there is a whole main dining room you eat every night that’s all healthy amazing food. So easy to be gluten and dairy free. Incredible gym and workout classes. Amazing spa. I legit thought of you when we went on it last bc it has such a focus on health
Okay the whole clip about GF & DF - that is so so good to know because i am GF & DF and my husband is GF so we have been wondering about that with an all inclusive! On our honeymoon we just went ahead and ate the gluten and dairy and omg i felt sooo awful. So this is so good to have a rec for a place that is good about it & even good to know that i can ask at other places we go!
I went to this resort back in September with my sister! I am also gluten free and it was honestly the best experience vacationing being gluten free. I can’t wait to go back 😍

The gross food poisoning symptoms hit me and my family on our last day of our trip to Mexico a year or 2 ago. Got me, my boyfriend, mom and sister, but not my dad or brother. Sometimes the water in the sink when brushing teeth or showering can be questionable, or the ice in your drinks. Sometimes when they prep the food they wash it under water too, you never know. So sorry it hit you ): the trip looked amazing and glad you enjoyed (a large majority) of it! 💛
I brushed my teeth with their water ONCE while I was there and the same thing happened to me!!! Glad you are feeling better !

Awe i feel for you, im always the one without fail to get food poisoning or eat something that doesn't agree with me. Its rough but so happy overall it was a great trip! It looked insane!! Also pro tip before you go in chlorine pools put some leave in conditioner throughout your hair it will hold the hydration and save your blonde ☺

Mexico is beautiful, but for this reason, I'm so scared to go there. With that said, I got food poisoning on Maui years ago at a Greek restaurant on a very hot day. The site of their kitchen when we left should have tipped me off that I would be violently ill on my way back to the hotel. So sick all night and had to travel home the next day. Of course they rerouted us through the airport of where our plane was supposed to be taken off from. Security was a nightmare. We barely made it onto the plane, and the whole time I was sweating bullets and trying to to throw up. So sorry this happened to you. I had a recent bout with food poisoning that I gave myself at home and it took a week to clear my system. Hope you feel better soon. Your trip looked amazing! 💗
I love Royalton hotels. I am so sorry you were sick! Food poisoning is the worst. I've had it twice and let me tell you I would rather have a headache anything than have food poisoning. I had it when I went to Jamaica. I have no idea how I got it but I was so sick. I missed a full day and a half and don't remember traveling back home because I was so sick. It is horrible. I am so happy you are back home and feeling better!! My birthday is Jan 19th and I am thinking I need to take a trip! ♥
Girl, I feel for you. I had the stomach bug on a flight from San Diego to Pittsburgh. I was throwing up in the airplane bathroom, and it was miserable. That sucks that your trip ended like that

I was in a tv show on a cruise once and they took pictures of my mom and I and later we found out they had a little bio for the workers to know who we are. I’m also gluten and dairy free! I think is a sweet way that they make sure they accommodate and treat you extra special ❤🥹

PSA people traveling to Mexico or other places where the water is undrinkable: Little things like brushing your teeth with water that isn’t filtered, having beverages with ice that isn’t filtered, eating fruits/vegetables washed with water that isn’t filtered; even the little bit of water left in a glass or blender after washing it can all be something that gets you sick. I’ve been to Brazil many times and have learned to be very careful, but caution only goes so far sometimes! Pack anti-diarrhea and pepto bismol pills every trip I go on.

I been to 5 star or above resorts in Mexico and had never gotten food poisoning. All inclusive. The perks of not being GF, DF, and all these other FREE things 😂😂 Thankfully I,ve never gotten sick when I travel. Hope you feel better!

Thank you so much!! I honestly stopped obsessing over macros and that helped me not be so focused on food which I think has helped my hunger levels a lot. I also have lost so much inflammation since seven months ago giving up gluten and I did not know that my body was intolerant to gluten until I went to a functional doctor

Your “food poisoning” sickeness possibly could’ve been from the water used to wash the lettuce on your salad, as I saw you ate that a few times there. You’d think a resort would use filtered water to wash their fruits and vegetables, but someone could have done it a different way that day.
