BCSO: Armed Subject Barricaded Inside Trailer Arrested

MEDIA RELEASE: Armed Subject Barricaded Inside Trailer Arrested
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrest an armed subject who barricaded himself inside of a storage trailer.
The call for assistance came in at 9:26 a.m., Wednesday. It was reported that a male was trespassing at a commercial business within the 4000 block of Broadway. Patrol deputies responded to the scene and attempted to make contact with the subject. The subject immediately barricaded himself inside of a trailer unit. The subject was identified as forty-nine-year-old Christopher Todd Barrow of Macon. Barrow had a warrant for his arrest and refused to exit the trailer; threatening to shoot deputies if entry was made.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Members, K-9 Interdiction, Hostage Negotiators, and Investigators responded to the scene to assess the situation. It was determined that Barrow was contained by himself inside the trailer and had no hostage. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office SWAT members were able to remove Barrow from the barricaded area. A firearm was recovered. Barrow was treated for a minor injury on the scene by paramedics standing by.
Christopher Todd Barrow was taken into custody and transferred to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He is currently charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts. He was wanted in Toombs County. His warrant was served.
