  • My burner tubes after 12 years were rusted out and needed replacement. I found some aftermarket stainless steel replacements that work great. I will show you how to replace these parts without taking most of the grill apart.

EXCELLENT VIDEO! Ordered the same parts from Amazon, was able to remove the set screws thanks to a little WD-40, and replace WITHOUT taking the whole grille apart!! Whole operation took just about 20 minutes.... Thanks again!

Thank you for this video. I have been in a leg cast and not able to take apart the grill as depicted in the instructions provided with the replacement burner tubes. I was able to easily replace my burner tubes today. Thanks again!

Thank you. Saved me at least half an hour. New tube from Amazon (quilimetal with screws) lit up perfectly real quick.

I am having the same problem with those screws. Thanks for the help in getting the tubes loose. I will try it tomorrow

Those screws were a PITA. After I made the video I think the best way would probably be a screwdriver and hammer. Chisel off the side of the screw flange so the burner comes out. You can leave the center of the screw in there.

@@GaryQuiring Got it! I actually try a method of bending the edge of the tube that goes over the screw and then remove it that way without messing with the screw. i dont want to bend my new ones so il try to chizek the screw

Your right you don't need the screws but maybe try vice grips or a grinder .worked for me.

FYI, spinning the screws out with vice-grips was a whole lot easier than trying to cut steel off of the screw heads.

I had tried that, the screw head disintegrated into small bits.

Thank- you so very much for the great detailed instructions, so I didn't need to take the whole bbq apart! 😊
I replaced all three burners and surprisingly was able to get two of the rusted screws out with pliers.
One of the burners has an orange flame, the rest are blue (as is correct) did I do something wrong?

These are covered under the lifetime warranty and Weber would have sent you new ones for free.

There is no lifetime warranty on the burner tubes, it's 10 years. My grill is 12 years old. Have you actually tried to use their warranty, it takes numerous calls and is very frustrating. Not worth the hassle.

Yes mine I over 10 years old. Just called yesterday. Sent a picture of the flame color and they are sending me new ones. They are also sending new triangular shaped covers all at no cost. Burners, grate, and the lid and bottom half are all covered in the lifetime warranty. Gave them the serial number and that’s all they needed. Was very easy process.
