Recently I have prepared this kind of thing in tawa. But to avoid burn I tried to make it not as a toast but as a sandwich with the same filling or stuff inside.
It is easier to turn both the sides on and cook properly without a burn or without making it hard.
To avoid extra cheese you can replace them with meyonese as it is a good binder.
