@@victorialim By the way Vic, Have you read "The egg" - by Andy weir? It is a short story like just 5 minute read but you can also watch an animated video on RUclips by Kurzgesagt & I am sure like 200% sure you will find it very meaningful and you will love it.
As a guy with real aspirations for Yale enrollment, recently I had read many big pieces of literature: first, "To Kill a Mockingbird", after "A Brave New World" and finally a complicated "Ulysses". Not pleasure sake but English practioning.
hope you enjoyed those classics -- have only read To Kill a Mockingbird myself. I read 1984 in 2021 as well and was close to adding it on the list, it's worth a read too! all the best for your studies :)
FICTION 1) Everything I never told you ~ add on: little fires everywhere 2) Ask again yes 3) Home going 4) The strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava Lavender 5) The unhealthy adventure of the Shergill sisters NON-FICTION 1) Braiding sweet grass 2) Nightmare Scenario: Inside the Trump administration’s response to the pandemic that changed history 3)Salt Fat Acid Heat
All of the books you have talked sounds so interesting can't wait to read them all. Thank you
Hope you enjoy! 📚
