That is awesome good for you! You hit on the key - months of effort on your part + getting guidance to work on the right things = one day better!
Happy to be a part of your journey!
    Cheers,
    Maria

Awesome video Maria! I started playing amateur (beer league) hockey a couple of years ago, and with no basics for my movements. It was hopeless. But after months of effort and help from your videos, my stability and my hip flexibility has gone up as well as my save percentage! I have been doing a lot of the myofascial release exercises to great effect, its weird going from being able to just touch my toes, to being able to reach 5 inches past!
    Thanks again!

Excellent work with this channel!! Love how you consistently enforce awareness of the pelvic position. These are great exercises that require little to no equipment. Keep it up!

Awesome stuff! I will be working this in to my workouts, especially the shuffle drills on my cardio and leg days. Maria, really excited to come out of retirement and get back on the ice and in front of the net, even if it is for just pick up and maybe adult league. Certainly what I am learning from you will help with that success.

I wrote a blog post on this very topic - I cannot post links in the reply to comments on RUclips, but Google 'hockeytrainingpro try outs' and I think you will see it in the results - hope that helps.
    Cheers,
    Maria

Any suggestions for what to eat on game days for maximum energy? I'm 48 and playing pickup for like 1.5 hrs and I get light headed after about an hour without a break.

For sure - I answer all the questions I get each week during the weekly Live goalie training Q&A over on the Goalie Training Pro page on Facebook. Those typically take place on Thursdays - then I post them to www.GoalieTrainingPro.com and to this RUclips Channel.

Jokes on you, she's a trainer not really a goalie.
