Brilliant song in an excellent Hitchcock film, ironically and wittily explaining why she didn't kill the guy herself! (You have to see the film). The acting is excellent all round and this scene with Marlene in that fabulous negligee is the cherry on top!
She has the same hairstyle like my great aunt from east prussia ....I didn't know that it should have been chic at that time. It always seemed so provincial to me...but if she wears her hair like that....
Women these days so don't make much of an effort to look attractive. You go to functions and theatre etc and it appears ladies don't wish to look appealing anylonger.
Well, it is very tiring. Women back then would sustain such a lifestyle with draining exercise and even drugs, because they were not often included in the public space if they were not appealing to the eye, exploited
All i see is Madeline Kahn in Blazin Saddles, "Im so Tired!"
Mel Brooks knew his movie history and I'm sure that was a direct take off! :)
Totally!!
Marlene Dietrich knew BLAZING SADDLES; she loved to imitate Madeleine Kahn’s performance.
Tiwed. Tiwed of playing the game. Ain't it a crying shame? Aaahhmmm soowww tiwwwud.
Let’s face it: Everything below the waist … is kaput!
It's twoo, it's twoo!
This song, "Blue Angel," and "Destry Rides Again" gave us Lily von Shtupp. ♥️🎈🍷🎶
Yes, yes!
It's not cause she's laziest girl in town
Something tells me she’s not quite as lazy as she claims.
She was a military Daughter, she speaks about this order, everytime to be an General! So she did. 🐣
Dietrich is amazing. Cole Porter wrote it, but Dietrich made it hers.
Marlene would be an unbelievable 120 years this year 2021
2022 and I worship at the altar of Marlene
The greatest of the divas

Can you tell us the name of the movie ?

Thank you
I can totally sympathize with her in this song 😅

Marlene Forever !!
Thanks for sharing :-)
All I can say is……WHAT A VOICE
Oh how wonderful, I'd always loved hearing this song in her concerts but I had no idea she had performed it in a film!
She is a Diva.
Разве может это не понравиться? Вечная красота души Марлен никогда не оставит нас
Let's face it...she's tired
I thought that she said that she was the biggest bee in town. 🐝
I love her!
It just could not be any uzzer vay... Dahlink
ROTFL!
Marlene Dietrich - 💕💕💕
Is that a ten gallon hat or are you just enjoying the show.
Lol That means that she's a lazy villager in animal crossing. 😟😂😂😂
Vera Diva.
"It's simply because, I've a lamppost attached to my mack"
Wonderfull, knowbody see, how wonderful this woman is... The art of Lady?!!! The art! 🤓
Mt little big me Mariah de-shanon and Shane remind me of you. Shania Le-Leshay is me and woman peeking reminds me of my grandmother
So thin. Running away from Kirk Douglas did that to girls.
Before "Que, Sera, Sera" in 1956's The Man Who Knew Too Much, there was this. Love it, love it!
And the cost…it’s not cheap to be glamorous.
Clase, glamour, elegancia, belleza! Gran dama prusiana Marlene !
@Bettina... Todo menos gran dama, era una arpía en el peor sentido.

Miss you MADAME 🤟🏾
LOVE MARLENE
I wonder if she got the "Buccal" those cheeks are awfully hollow. . . 🧐🤨🤔
Plastic surgery was pretty primitive back then; Marlene had to rely more on very careful lighting when she was on camera.

Oh boy. So much to unpack here.
Not a diva. Nope. Not at all.
Of course not. She just told that she’s the laziest gal in town, didn’t she? Way too lazy to be a diva.
