    Lovely tutorial. I made one with caron simply soft snow sparkle yarn. I used 4 balls of this yarn. I increased the number of rows to 30. It looks so beautiful. Thank you for the video. Could you please do a video for mens scarf or vest or hoody or sweater?

    Thank you so much for this tutorial video. I am making mine. 21 rows are too small for me. I increased it to 26. But still feel very small. LOL anyway I am working on the wings now. In your video, you only slip stitch twice instead of three times as in the instruction. I guess both ways are fine?

      Sometimes a pattern can get updated in time. I know I filmed this so many years ago. It's possible the pattern was updated. Follow what you think is best.

    Hi
    That was a fabulous tutorial.
    Can you show how to do the same pattern but in a cape shape rather than shawl with pointed wings.
    I would like to make a ‘cape’ type for my Mum that would just drape down from her shoulders and hang in folds.
    She is a wheelchair user.

    Mikey,could i put beads on the trim at the bottom?Any tips on how to do that?

    • @teresahaddox3323
      @teresahaddox3323 8 лет назад +1

      +Tonia C I can tell you how I do it. Maybe that will give you some ideas. If the hole in the bead is large enough I use the same yarn as I did in the project and take a needle to sew them on. I make scarfs mostly. I put clay beads on a scarf with fishing line. Worked great. I have used invisible thread and worked great. Thread and fishing line is hard to work with but works if you have the patience. Had to use just shorter length with thread and line. Would sort of weave it around to tie it off and start next section. Can not see it if sewn through yarn. There may be another way but this is how I did it. this worked well when I put buttons on too. Sometimes they are cheaper and just as beautiful. Hope it helped.

      Puoi cambiare il video sottotitolato in italiano se ne hai bisogno. Basta cambiare i sottotitoli sul tuo lettore video. Il modello è scritto solo in inglese purtroppo. - You can change the video subtitled to Italian if you need it. Just change the subtitles on your video player. The pattern is only written in English unfortunately.
