A dear friend sent me a link to “From Lara With Love” as a birthday present this year. I thought I was privileged to say I had seen all my idols Elvis, Barbra, and Celine live. Then I watched the From Lara With Love concert and realized I had just witnessed a performance I could enjoy for the rest of my life. This multi-talented songwriter/ composer/ musician/ singer/ human will forever be at the top of my list of all other singers. A question I kept asking was “How Is it I never knew of her music? Now after months of watching/ hearing her perform through RUclips concert videos, learning about her life’s journey through interviews and reaction videos, I am just grateful for her presence in this world. To hear vocal and performance coaches one after another gush about this classically trained voice is satisfying, but even more so is their praise of her incomparable emotive live performances, song after song, concert after concert, year after year. To see her growth to the songwriter/ composer/ musician/ singer/ human she is today, I found the answer to that question…I am one of the privileged today to have finally been introduced to her…she was right on time. And now I love watching reaction videos and witnessing people, like you two, falling in love with this multi-talented human being. Her humanity is evident in her songwriting, her performances and other songs she chooses to cover. The lack of promotion in the US did not stifle Lara, she is well-known in Canada, in Europe and Asia from France to Kazakhstan and in Brazil. She’s had a profound influence on young singers from those countries. And now, thankfully, we have discovered her through RUclips. How lucky are we?
Discovered her on you tube myself. Stumbled upon a reaction video of her performance of Jesuis Malade, and I, like you love watching people react to this amazing talent. Have watched countless videos of her and can't get enough. Even when you can't understand one word of what she is singing, it doesn't matter. Her voice goes straight to your soul and takes permanent residency there. Being a former musician, playing for her would of been the highlight of my career just as listening to her has been the highlight of my life this past year. Absolutely agree with everything you said. Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. The amazing fact about her is that she still perfom at a very hight level, even after the accident that she had few years ago and left her deaf for a while. She is for sure THE BEST ! Fun fact…that is not the kind of music that I like. Not at all. But I have to admit that she is one of the greatest artist ever, and a wonderfull human being

We don't have a lot of time on our hands right now, but that will change. We want to begin to reach out to these artists personally somehow to try and find a middle ground. @@RNTV thanks for the response. I was expecting something like that. I think RUclips should introduce some kind of shared 'views'. When a reactor uses a video, the hit should count somehow to both reactor and artist. YT could add a dedicated field to mention the original video id being viewed. An algorithm (probably close to the one used to detect copyright) could calculate a score to define whether the hit/view should be counted to both artist/reactor or just artist, or blocked when the score is really too low. I personally now prefer to watch a good reaction rather than original. This is good for the artist and good for the reactor that adds value as well. Good luck for the discussion anyway.

Whitney`s gone, Mariah`s Residency came to an end, Celine`s having health issues and need to reschedule her world tour 2022. Lara is still alive and kicking yet all of them are already out of their vocal prime. For her age right now at 52, her tank is somewhat half way so manage your expectations in case you were going to watch her newer performances. I am working with a Spanish friend of mine to get subtitles put on a lot of the Spanish videos out there. It seems most of them just don't have them added for some reason. We think the reactions would be much more enjoyable if we could know the lyrics. I think it would be great for the artist's as well to have subtitles on the video.

Hi friend. We just want to be sure to be respectful to the artists. All of our reactions to Lara have been met with copyright of some sort. We don't have a lot of time on our hands right now, but that will change. We want to begin to reach out to these artists personally somehow to try and find a middle ground. We have reached out to Lara already with no word back from her. We will try more ways when we start to have more time we promise. @@RNTV thanks for the response. I was expecting something like that. I think RUclips should introduce some kind of shared 'views'. When a reactor uses a video, the hit should count somehow to both reactor and artist. YT could add a dedicated field to mention the original video id being viewed. An algorithm (probably close to the one used to detect copyright) could calculate a score to define whether the hit/view should be counted to both artist/reactor or just artist, or blocked when the score is really too low. I personally now prefer to watch a good reaction rather than original. This is good for the artist and good for the reactor that adds value as well. Good luck for the discussion anyway.

I think it's from 2003 so after From Lara With Love. She purposely has a smaller crowd and only a piano and a string quartet. It's very intimate, in fact that's the name of the concert.. En Tout Intimite. Her artistry and emotional story telling shines here and takes you to places you didn't think you could go.

Whitney`s gone, Mariah`s Residency came to an end, Celine`s having health issues and need to reschedule her world tour 2022. Lara is still alive and kicking yet all of them are already out of their vocal prime. For her age right now at 52, her tank is somewhat half way so manage your expectations in case you were going to watch her newer performances. There is not much vocal prowess here since its a different music genre. I would like you to react to a singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she is a singer who sings different musical styles with incredible melismas and a very particular voice.
I am working with a Spanish friend of mine to get subtitles put on a lot of the Spanish videos out there. It seems most of them just don't have them added for some reason. We think the reactions would be much more enjoyable if we could know the lyrics. I think it would be great for the artist's as well to have subtitles on the video.
