    same here, my fave part of every language are puns and wittiness that can be expressed in that particular language.

    Delightful!
    Unfortunately, relatively few native speakers can play "ping pong punning" like the very smart set that David describes in his amusing conclusion.

    I wonder if other cultures have an equivalent of our Mexican "albur", which is basically this concept of "ping pong punning": speaker A says a word that triggers an "albur" (a wordplay joke) in order to insult speaker B, going back and forth.
    "Huele a obo"...
